The Gunslinger Channels in Human Design

- Richard Beaumont takes us on a fast track tour of The Gunslinger Channels. By describing different scenarios Richard makes the point that these Projector Channels become recognised, in a positive way, depending upon their appropriateness.
(Opps, I've just a sharp-eyed viewer just pointed out I put the wrong graphic in for the 43/23 Channel as I accidently repeated the 17/62. Hopefully that didn't confuse anyone too much.)

This was brilliant! I have two gunslinger channels (17-62 and 43-23). My favorite thing to do is talk about my insights and share my knowledge… and YES the invitation is a requirement. I’ve learned it’s better to be patient to wait to be heard than overwhelm and scare everyone off because I can’t shut up. Gave me a good chuckle at myself 😆. Thanks Richard!

Richard how funny! I have the 43-23 and the 11-56. I do feel the urge to speak when I “have” something. It’s so intense. For instance, I listened to this video and felt the urgency to go tell my husband what I learned. Yes, waiting for the invitation- so important. I also relate to desperately wanting to be there for others when invited to share my similar experiences. To top it off my husband has the 17-62. He is a natural born teacher and is patient in waiting for an invitation. His step by step approach is so grounding. However there are times when he ( now I understand why) tends to go on regarding a topic that I have little interest in. 😂 Thank you for the education and clarity Richard!
Yes Deena, how wonderful you have the full deck of cards to observe. The 17/62 enjoys a good argument and winning that argument. There is no point laying down a step-by-step breakdown if your husband, as a teacher, will see there is no point if the student isn't ready to follow. :)
this is amazing! I have the 43 23 channel. people often tell me that I completely change their lives. I wonder, why. Then I found I am a role model and now this channel. I understand more and will use it more consciously. thank you ❤
I'm a 3/6 projector with this channel as well and I'm looking forward to people finally coming to for advice... I had to change my approach because I felt bitterness creeping in
Well done on applying the knowledge well. Please know that your aura really does the talking and it creates a tension that will draw the other if you remain quiet initally. Keep experimenting until you learn the knack. :)

Another crazy thing: I am a quad right. So whoever meets me thinks, I am a genius and have great ideas, know everything. But I feel like knowing nothing. It just talks through me. I never really knew how to learn & always felt bad about it. Human design gives me huge insights. Your channel is just amazing for ne!!!❤❤❤

Thank you for reminding me that these channels work by invitation.... Gosh, well my 11-56 came to the rescue only recently; some random stranger currently navigating one helluva [quote] 'shitstorm' who needed an ear. It definitely felt right to be invited.... I love how you put this one together, Richard...

"Intrusive in the wrong time", as a 23/43 myself, with some friends with that same channel, I started laughing when I heard that. haha So true...
And when there is an argument between two people with those channels... it can be something else. 😅

Thanks Richard!... I have 17.3 & 62.3... a couple of months ago I learned the mechanics of my channels, it was a game changer to know my projected Channels... of course I still think "I have to speak", but I'm learning the art of waiting 😊

This is hilarious Richard!😂 I have 17-62, and know when someone is talking BS, or something isn't correct and what would help to fix it, but have learned to keep my mouth shut unless asked. But my husband says I have "Gunslinger eyes", so he can tell if I'm thinking something along those lines, even if other people don't know.
Love this video! So much fun to see the people I know in your descriptions of these channels-not to mention that, while I have no activations in any of these gates, these 3 channels bridge my split 😳🤪😅

I have slung my 23/43 gun way too much! I have to keep those words in around most of my family!
The universe has created just the right storm for me to really learn to bite my tongue when I see the ‘station wagon racing toward the cliff’….. I need to not interfere with the drivers and let them do their best without my interference, since they’re not asking me!! I am realizing that what I know is only for me unless I am asked! if I assume it’s true for them and try to push it out there it’s just bad advice!
Brilliant you know this Marnae. This does not mean that, in seeing their uncertainty about something, you can't make some cyptic or amusing comment that may get them to ask you. Bringing out knowing is all about the timing. :)

Yesterday I was going through the "channels by type" lectures and if I recall correctly, he also included the Throat to Spleen and Throat to Self channels as "gunslingers."
Thoughts?
The Projected Channels to the Throat from the Spleen depend upon the Splenic awareness, so it's not a given. The Self to the Throat can be, if the person doesn't feel recognised in who they are, but again it's not a given. But the Ajna to the Throat - Oh Yes - no doubt about it, it is only by getting one's ideas expressed that the mind can be validated for its cleverness. :)
@@humandesigninfo as a 16-48 myself, I do resonate with some verbal gunslinging, haha. A video on other potential gunslingers would be cool!

I find it really funny with the 17-62, they are so annoying😂 I have the other two channels, so I guess that’s why I find the step-by-step method far too slow and even though I write down step-by-step what I need to do (eg paperwork to applying for something) I cannot do it - it’s like I get blind. So I unintentionally create chaos for those who need me to go with the process to get their job done - thank god, those with 17-62 are very helpful and kind😃
Yes the 17/62 are very helpful and kind when you want to logical guidance. But when they fail, your Channels then become the useful ones. Never forget that. A good example is the way statistics can be framed in ways to support a particular point of view, but can also hide the truth. :)

I have the 17-62 channel and I’ve noticed this deep patience when it comes to teaching others. I’m in no rush and I know when they need to hear it, the invitation will come. And at the same time I’m NOT the person you should come to if you want someone to empathize or not give you a very logical answer. I see this is where I can be a bit more patient now.. It brings me back to a conversation that I had with my mom where she hung up on me after she said she doesn’t like coming to me when she’s upset about something because it’s hard for me to not look at a situation logically. My mom much prefers to talk to my sister who has the 43-23 channel. It all makes sense now 😅
Yes Gaia, mechanics show us the way it is. It's so good to have a science with 'facts' that are verified as we witness what's happening. :)
I have the 17-62 and when you were talking about it I was like yes! Haha that’s me in a nutshell, so in love with that logic and the ability to see so clearly the steps to take. With a few years of second ironing under my belt now I feel less compulsion to share immediately what I see and I can wait for the invitation.
I had always understood the channels from the g-centre to the throat to be the gunslinger channels…

That was a fun message. I was thinking about a few people I know just talk forever and although I find it draining haha I also have more compassion for them knowing it very well could be part of their design
That's it Starshine. We are what we are, they are what they are. It is the way it is. This simple understanding expands our compassion. Most people are trapped in a homogenious non-communication unaware of their uniqueness and not appreciating themselves. Human Design is here to change that. :)

Oops. I have the 11-56 and a hanging gate 17. This may explain why when people ask me how I did something I often can't explain the answer with any practical details. My answer is usually "I don't know, I don't remember" because I remember the story behind doing it, but not the actual steps. Or I'll say, "Watch how I do it" as I proceed to show them what I did 😅

I know a 2/4 Projector with 17-62 channel and it used to create a conflict especially when I didn’t ask for their opinion! 😅😂 But since I have been de conditioning for many years it doesn’t happen anymore especially since I started learning about HD :)

Those are my 3 too. Very active amongst themselves, gathering data and ideas. During transits they come online, and all of a sudden I feel super clear and wise😊.

@@humandesigninfo it sure is not! For this exact reason I recently worked with a projector mentor and wow did it it help. It can be so daunting to be a knower and a formulizer. That genius to freak trait is a lot to work with.
