You could try added some helium or argon gas to the mix to make cold plasma. Then you could do 30 second seed treatments or living plants since the plasma would be closer to room temperature.
Thanks. The temperature of the plasma is pretty close to room temperature already (yes, I did put a finger between the 2 electrodes). Helium or argon would make the setup a bit too complex/costly. Besides, I can also increase the distance between the 2 electrodes to further lower the temperature of the ionic wind.
Hello there!, fellow plasma nut! I am a mushroom farmer in bc canada, and have been working on the incorporation of charge into some experimental plate work and to see if i can ifluence how long colonization time takes, and nutrition uptake... can we chat about how its been going for you and the boundaries, concepts and parameters you have been working within?
@HighonIonicthought That's interesting. I have never tested with mushrooms, I suspect results, good or bad, should be faster to get with them . With regards to fruit tree cuttings, the challenge is to have a proper protocol, i.e. control group, in place in order to be able to decisively confirm the effects. Since I mostly work with tropical trees, other parameters like temperature and lighting can mess up the experiments (i.e. power outages). I will try to post a follow-up video, but it seems that my viewership do not really like when I go too much into the techical stuff...
@cooltherapy I will be starting to fill my channel with content of it too...steady moving forward, it is lonely on the tip of the spear. Start stacking up amazing results and worry about over analyzing once you are amazed and sure.... I am no scientist either

@@HighonIonicthought That's great! Actually, I just realised I did experiment with plasma on fungi, will post a video.
