Enjoyed your British Isles cruise with you! Thanks for all the great "city" videos, and, for showing all the yummy food on & off the ship. Happy cruising ahead!
Wow that's a long time to kill time in an airport! Glad you got to use the lounge at least, hopefully that made the time a little more pleasant. Great series, I look forward to the next one!
Another great video! That singer sounded great! We'll be embarking on our 42nd and 43rd cruises, (in transit on Celebrity over the holidays), and it will only be our third cruise on a veranda. The long trip back home is always the downer after a cruise. But again, great work, already looking forward to your next adventure, AKA "The Quest for Crown Royal". Take care till then.
Have a great time on the Celebrity cruises - we hope to try Celeb later in 2023. Fingers crossed. The quest continues - we cruise out of LA over the upcoming holiday season and hope to find Crown Royal there, as we have the drink package.
Thanks for GREAT set of videos on the Carnival Pride tour. We are doing the same cruise starting August 9th. Did you pay for most of your expenses using a credit card or did you take Euro's with you. If so, how much should we take. This is our first trip over the pond.
We used our credit card almost everywhere we went. We used Euros for tipping and some small purchases. We also had pounds for our time in England. You don’t need a lot of cash because your credit card will be accepted most everywhere. We were travelling for a total of five weeks and we had 200 pounds and 500 euros with us for trip.
@CruisingCanucks I had heard London (staying for four days) was almost cashless but wasn't sure about the ports the ship docked at. Thank you very much for the information.
Worst day of a cruise, LOL! We haven't cruised CCL in forever, but we have the Jubilee booked when she sets sail. Did you ever find out if that was just Dover or is that how CCL disembarks now?! Thanks for the info!
Nothing will end the cruise like the last morning. Getting up in the middle of the night and then waiting around until it’s your turn to disembark and then securing your ride. Such a hassle for sure.
Great Video, note the Dyson airblade dryer is meant to "push" the water off your hands kind of like a squeegee, it does leave your hands a bit damp but not wet.
We find that Carnival as one of the most expensive drink packages. You would have to drink a lot to get your money’s worth. We only had it because they had a special promotion on when we had booked the cruise due to the fact that cruising was still on a pause because of Covid.
The last day at sea is so sad. You have to go back to the real world and the hassle of flying back to wherever you came from. It would be better if you could just stay aboard until you got tired of it and then to really look forward to leaving. LOL. I also have to say that Carnival seems to have great entertainment.
Very sad and you will see they almost didn't let us leave!! We were sad to say goodbye to the Pride, but not too sad, as we knew we still had Rome and 7-days in the Mediterranean ahead of us.
@@CruisingCanucks Same thing happened to me on The Carnival Splendor. I was told to not leave the ship b/c their was a problem with my debit card. After 45 minutes they let me go w/o an explanation. When I got home my bank account was cleaned out. They overcharged me, and I never completely resolved it.

Glad you enjoyed it!
I have just found these videos so sat and watched them all , and i am with Jerry on the banana split as i love them too .
They are very tasty. Mr. Canuck is on a mission to find out which cruise line has the best banana split.🍌🍨
I really enjoyed this series. Loved the little town of cobh
Glad you enjoyed it. We loved Cobh (pronounced Cove) and it reminded us so much of eastern Canada.
The houses in Cobh reminded me of St. John's NL!
We thought the same thing. It was beautiful.

The lounge was wonderful and we’d strongly recommend it for any long airport days.
Thanks for this series. I really enjoyed the locations, some of which I have been to. Always nice to do Europe.
For sure! Watch for the Mediterranean cruise we do next. We had a great time in Europe.
Great series guys. Brought back some great memories of your 2019 British Isles cruise on NCL. Looking forward to your next trip. Love the Med.
Thanks for watching! Hopefully the Med cruise content is ready for next weekend!

I know some Carnival insiders who say they changed the VIFP parties to the final day knowing that cruisers will drink less due to travel the next day.
Sadly it’s been this way for over a decade now. It would be nice to have it early and start the cruise off with a bang.

We cruise on carnival again in a few weeks - we’ll let you know.

5am announcements is crazy - would love to know the thinking.

If only they had something to dry your hands instead of pushing water around.
Was the drink package worth it?

I see you were seated with another couple in the MDR.
How did they react to you vlogging your meals?
They were friends of ours from Canada - so they knew about the vlogging well ahead of time.

@@stephendacey8761 We always try to check our account before leaving the ship for sure.
