MARQUIS WILL EVOLVE!!! From the onset, children don't see GREATNESS in their "simple & boring" parents.
Kobe said, he had to stop giving his daughter (Gianna) basketball coaching advice, cause all she would INNOCENTLY say: "BUT DAD, MY COACH SAID" (lol). He didn't want her to lose respect for her coaches, so he remained quiet.
However, during games Kobe strategically showed Gianna, WHAT TO DO RIGHT, eventually she caught on & they later laughed together.
A FREAKIN cool father & daughter life lesson story. RIP KING KOBE

As hurt and betrayed as I was by my child's father. I still let him in my home to be there for my daughters party this weekend. That wound never heels but the my daughter's needs come before my heartbreak and bitterness.

I have been there before. My daughters father came to their party and didn't even say hello or goodbye to me or any members of my family. We are in a better space now. You are putting your love for your daughter's and prioritizing their happiness and that's awesome. Motherhood can be a thankless job.

@@josl1345 It’s rarely a thankless job stop it. Y’all been praised above and beyond. And that’s fine but pretending it’s ever been thankless in our community is wild. She supposed to put the needs of the child above her. Just like any parent is suppose to do. That doesn’t require a thanks. But y’all get thanks for it and that’s fine.

@@ritzkola2302 It's a figurative statement, and a very common sentiment. If you want to be literal about it, all the thanks and praise from the "community" could never make up for the countless sacrifices parents, mother's particularly, and single mothers even more so, make on behalf of their kids. But...to each his own.
