Many Other people I see have this problem with the BCM forgetting the Sensor - does this scanner RELREAN the Body control Module to see the sensor so the brakes will go on and off as they are supposed to do? if not or even if it does, do you know what scanner does this? what's the best scanner for the cheapest price that can relearn the sensor?

I'm working on a 2013 Tahoe, in my scan tool under EBCM (electronic brake control module) it has the brake position calibration.

you keep calling that a SWITCH, it's a 3 Prong sensor man, not a switch. see at 5:07 / 8:47 I have it freeze framed, is this screen showing us a RELEARN program so the BCM will learn the position of that sensor and start working properly?

Nope it doesn't take care of our problem because you didn't show the brake lights going on at the rear of the car and off again when you let off the brake. I put a new sensor in and it did the EXACT same thing the one O took out was doing. step on the brake and the lights go off for a second then back on, let off the brake and the lights go off for 5 seconds and then come back on and stay on while driving. the only go off all the way when I shut the car off. this car is a Pontiac Torrent ( Same a an Equinox ) with that same exact brake pedal position SENSOR

I have a 2011 Cruze Liz and I have the p057c code coming up. Ive replace the sensor 3 times. The CE light goes away for about a month after replacing the sensor then comes back. Even with the CE light on cause of this code my brake lights still work. They work so good that when the car is parked not running and no key in the ignition the lights come on by themselves. Driving down the road they come on by themselves, this sucks cause when you have the cruise control on and the lights come on it continuously kicks the cruise off. To get the lights to go off I have to pull the brake peddle back with my foot just to get them to go off. Any insight on how to fix this problem would be much appreciated.
