Now, in my quest to further simplify our life, I'm taking a leap again... But this time around, from an entrepreneur to a farmer! So join me in this journey as I escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a simpler life, a life in our farm.... our safe haven, the iNest!

1.fence cost
2.electricity access
3.water access /supply
4.clearing road / cemented road
5.kubo/ rest place
6.seedling cost
7maintenance
3. Tubig…sinabi ko na solar pumps and ingenuity….
Last time I checked po kasi, pump lang sya and yung solar.
My sister has a 2 hectare farm in Batangas. Instead of using a jack pump or submersible pump, she opted for a wind driven pump so her water supply no longer needed electricity. So when I also have my own farm, I will have to ask my brother in law to help me fabricate and install the wind power equipment for the pump.
That’s great! Thank you po for sharing!
Windmill po na DIY ba? Kanino po nagpagawa sister mo po?
Wow...
@@jerrysnotes8Kanino pp nagpagawa?
Thank you for the entertaining narration of your hard work. I was laughing with you, but your patience and sincerity is so inspiring. God bless.
I agree on all of the seven costs you listed which we also experienced (but no fence yet). Unfortunately, I have 1 more big expense in our farm, legal fees, for a dispute with my neighboring land, Yep, this was hidden and the kind of expense you don't want in your farm. Lesson learned for me, so hopefully, I'll make a similar video to share my experience 🙁
Oh, sad to hear about your legal dispute. ☹ Aside from the big expense, I can't imagine the level of stress it also brings. Hope it will be resolved soon...
Disputes and especially among siblings the subject of Inheritance some to be common in the Philippines .
It's very important to research thoroughly and check the background history po. Bago bumili nang mahal na property.
Thank you brother for sharing your experiences. Because of your vlog I was enlightened on the unforeseen expenses that I would encounter. It used to be that I consider the productive plants inside, the view, terrain, access road quality and distance to town proper. I also considered the source of water for my fisheries project. Things I overlooked are the power source and fencing.
Again, thank you!!
Ingatan nawa kayo palagi.
Your vlog is very informative to
newbies. My family is looking
a farmlot with exesting fruit
bearing trees somewhere in
Santa Maria Laguna not less
than 5000 sq mtrs.
Best of luck Frendo on getting your farmlot. It’s an exciting journey ahead! :)
Your vlog is very useful lalo na sa kagaya ko na nagbabalak mag put up ng farm.Ang dami ko palang dapat i consider before buying farm land.
Syiempre kailangan mo ang necessities (electricity and water) to survive.
Add waste treatment and drainage costs too!
Salamat sa very informative video! Mabuhay po kayo! :)

You’re welcome!
Thanks for sharing this video. Hidden Costs of buying a farm.
Very nice Sir and if possible can you include safety and security for Farm Lots? Thanks
This is an eye-opener. Thanks!
Of course you buy a farm with a purpose, most cases for business with r.o.i..if the purchase is only intended for a rest house or retirement house then it doesnt need to be a regular farm size property running by the hectare, around 300-400 sqmts will do the job.
At least available lahat tubig, koryente.
Hello sir, I enjoyed listening the "7 hidden cost". All in all your vlog taught me a lot. Thanks for sharing.

and God bless!!!!!
You're welcome po! :)
Maganda mga ideas mo so go go go

Basta may water source at own road panalo na yun
Very informative,thanks for the info.
very informative. thanks! 👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Agree po ..we my husband invest at overlooking farm .. magastos sobra .. Kasi DP develop ...
This is so helpful thank you
About electricity , can you talk about Solar and grid tie, permits and process, and savings if any, and if there is available small wind generators., I have seen some vlogs (Top Mix vlogger) of farms with wind powered water pumps, Ilocos / Nueva Ejicia regions , I want the possibility of OffGrid living , and Organic farming, only Veggies , fruits and chickens and goats.
Very informative. Baka magback out na lang ako bumili hehhe😂
Glad you found it helpful. :)
Thanks for sharing, Sir.
You are very welcome
Thank you for this great info !
Thank you po sir sa information
IMO, these expenses are common sense.
Hi Jerry, Where did you film this video? What a beautiful beach...
It’s in Boracay. :)
jerry, do you have any background in farming? thanks for your tips. yes, more videos on water and electricity. how about using solar power for light and water.
Saan pwede bumili reputable farm.
If you can push it to 2,000 sqm, that's better po.
thankyou so much very knowledgeable
You are most welcome!
Hi! Can you recommend any agent for buying farm? Thank you!
The best!
Thank you po!
New subscriber here galing niyo naman po Sir....Very informative topic niyo ,im so thankful na browse ko vlog niyo buti na lang na i share niyo po. gawa din po kayo vlogs un process ng pag request naman sa local govt o lgu kung gaano katagal din po. Ganda ng business niyo sir
You’re welcome po! :) Do you mean po ba yung process ng transfer of title?
You could have consider an off grid solar system instead of investing in concrete electrical post and wires
Based po on the experiences of my friends, the off grid solar system will not work for us since we have 2 hp submersible pump plus several water heaters and high voltage appliances like ovens.
However, solar is something that I’m always interested in so I’ll continue to watch the developments in this area.
Thank you for this valuable information. Now, I can calculate if I can afford a farm, have energy and time to do all these things
You're welcome po! Glad you found this video helpful.
What about solar as another source nang electricity? Cosr efficient kaya?
I watched your whole video and i think it's INVESTMENT not Hidden Cost...😊
Magastos ginagawa mo...😂
May transfer of title fee pa di ba? Kasi nakabili ako ng farm tapos hinuhulugan ko every month...tapos sabi i need to pay 42k para sa transfer title fee
How about Tax? Magkano every year?
Thanks You!
You're welcome!
Regarding electricity, why not make use of Solar System which i think is very much cheaper
I think pwede naman po. It’s something I would like to try next time.
Based on feedback po kasi na nakuha ko, the battery now ng solar is hindi pa ganun tumatagal so hindi pa worth it yung investment.
I think mas sulit kung walang battery for now kaso that means na kailangan pa rin magpakabit ng magandang electricity.
Kung baka, supplement lang si solar and hindi pa sya total replacement for good electricity.
Wow very informative sir
Welcome po! Do you have a farm already?
salamat bro...God bless
Welcome bro!
hi, which beach is this ?
Thank you
You're welcome!
Very timely, no longer investing in a farm. 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha! This is just meant to prepare you and not to discourage you away. 😀
