Best thing we did was move to Shropshire. Loved the Black Country - I was born and raised there but it was time to escape the noise and the crowds. So much better out here.
Just a bloke, climbing a hill, taking in the views, the clouds, sunset, sunrise, getting hot then cold, shooting footage, camera at arm’s length telling the story as best you can. Just what you wanted to do. It paid you back in spades. You seemed totally filled up by the experience. Good man. 👍

Chris, as always, stunning photography. It shows how much beautiful nature there is on our doorstep if we just take time away from the daily noise of routine and information overload. There are some good uses of social media, but for the vast majority are a platform for egotism, conformity, cliches and misguided wisdom. Not a lot of real culture going on. That doesn’t mean that social media is responsible for all the ills in the world like some people seem to think. There was plenty of stupidity before that as everyone knows. What really makes the difference is investing time in culture, skills, making experiences (not always pleasant sometimes), becoming a bit better/stronger every day, understanding that external approval is definitely enjoyable but can’t be an end on its own, at the end of the day the solutions to any external challenges come more from inside yourself than outside.
