I've never had Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. The chicken and potato wedges looked so good! Your excitement for Lee's has me wanting to try this chicken and wedges. Thanks for showing me Lee's!
If you happen to come across one, give it a try! I think yall will really enjoy it. The chicken is delicious, and those wedges are the absolute best. Thanks for watching!
Those potato wedges were huge! The chicken looked good too. It’s been years since we’ve had it but always enjoyed it. We enjoyed how they have preserved the building and haven’t tried to modernize it like a lot of other restaurants try to do. Excellent review!
I live about 10 blocks up the road..He is on Scott street..Not sure if he came down. 75 & got off 12th street exit or came off the John R Roebling suspension bridge because it turns into Scott Street as soon as u come off the bridge on the Kenticky side...U should definitely stop next time ur up this way..I always get the 6.99 special 😂
I think it was 75 to 5th street coming in. That $6.99 deal is a super good deal.
Thank you so much, I was definitely surprised to see the old building and so much of it brought back those memories of being a child going to get chicken lol. I want some wedges now lol.
@NerdsOnTheGo Oh ok the second Covington exit.
Lee and Mrs Winners were good 🎉
Sooo good!
We also love Lee's chicken and Mrs. Winners from the past. Love those cinnamon rolls from Mrs. Winners. We miss both of these restaurants as they are no longer in our area. Definitely good chicken and good memories.
Man, how great would it be to have them back in Nashville?!?!
I live in Covington Kentucky literally across the river from Cincinnati..Hope u enjoyed ur visit
That's cool, we had an awesome time and are looking forward to going back to Cincinnati. Great city.
@NerdsOnTheGo I love living in Covington..It has a small town feel yet if I want a faster pace city I'm literally 5 mins from Cincinnati..It's great
Sorry for the delay, that's so cool. We liked both covington and cincy. The goldstar we ate at near the same exit we got off at had great staff and great food.
Michigander here. Get the Gizzards I loved them as a kid and still love them. I cant stand the liver though still to these day. Lee's in Plymouth, MI rocks!!!!!!
I love some gizzards, thanks so much!! Wish we had one in Nashville.
We have a Lees in Milan Tennessee which is only about 20 minutes from home. I love getting an atm call it Milan late in the day so I can take home Lees for supper 🙂. I'm a fool for fried chicken!!
I love some fried chicken too, I would def be going on those calls. 😂😂 Just wish they would come back to Nashville.
Looks like a potential lunch stop in our drive to Gatlinburg next month.
Let us know what you think if you go!
I hate to brag... but my small town still has a Lee's❣ Their Tater Wedges are Amazing!!! You're Right!!!!
Lucky you!
Hey
Hey 👋
Never heard of this before. How does this compare to Gus's famous chicken? I have never had either but might have a chance this fall, curious which one you would recommend.
We do not like Gus's chicken so to us this is definitely better. This is similar to like a KFC but way better to us.
This also is something from our childhood that's not around much anymore, so we will always favorite it a little more, but I really think you would like it.
@@NerdsOnTheGo thank you. I will definitely keep it in mind. I grew up eating KFC we didn't have anything like this. We did have a local grocery store that had excellent chicken and potato wedges.
You can't beat going somewhere from your childhood for the memories. Again, thanks and I enjoy all your videos.
Thank you so much, we really appreciate that.
