Gaylord Opryland Resort // Nashville TN // Tour and Review

We wanted the convenience of staying in one place after a long drive, so we decided to book a night at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. In our search for the perfect place to stay, we landed on this resort because of the the convenience of having everything we need in one place and their indoor/ outdoor Sound Waves water park.

Hi Chris, the indoor section is definitely open all year! Two of the largest slides enter and exit indoors. They have a lazy river, and a not so lazy river inside as well. An obstacle course, rock wall, and big pool all indoors. Hope y’all have a great trip! ****Also, make sure you get water park package with room as that is only way to get entry. Upside is it shouldn’t be too crowded.

How cold was the water and how much extra do it cost you

The inside lazy rivers and pools are heated year round. Outside felt good, but it was a hot July day! Prices depend on season and other specials. TN residents get a discount, but you have to book a room at the hotel w/ water park package to enter. This keeps the crowds low:
