vitamin c tends to decrease because vitamin c is a heat labile vitamin so increase in tempreture will lead to a decrease in vitamin C content. Here is correct Info.
I have a simple way.....just sun dry the orange peels and make a powder of it in a mixier......this can be applied all over the body instead of a soap.......result is a good soft skin which smells amazing citric

Vit c breaks down when exposed to oxygen and doest have a very long shelf life. Add vit e to stabilize it and put it in a tinted container that doesn't allow so much air exposure to the product each time you open it.
That one of the reason why alot of people prefer oil based vitamin c. I'm personally not a fan of vitamin c serums or oils tried them for a while and never showed any results. I prefer marula oil, lemon brightening serum, rosehip oil, amla oil, pineapple essential serum they contain more vitamin c than vitamin c serum and oils and you see results sooner.

What about adding a preservative? If you are using aloe Vera gel and water based products you need a preservative to prevent mold and mildew. I suggest adding optiphen plus.
The Aloe Vera gel she's using isn't raw, its commercial -meaning its Already got preservatives in it, then with glycerin and vit E your More than O.K on preventing any mold or other issues. But if u like Extra Preservatives, go 4 it.
Why wouldn't you add the vitamin E at the end so it's not lost in the blender all it is is three little tiny drops of oil SPREAD THAT OUT over the walls of the containers and what the peels REABSORB after being DRY it makes more sense to add those three capsules directly to the syrup at the very end so all of it is intact right
Great video. But can I just say anytime water, glycerin, or aloe vera is used in a product you should be using a preservative. This realistically won't be good for longer than a few days. There are lots of great natural preservatives to keep it fresh from mold and bacteria. Bacteria can't be seen in these products:(

Just want to add when I was making this serum up 2 tbl rosewater was not enough to produce the amount of liquid which is seen in the video, otherwise its great.
Its a wonderful and a equally delightful serum to make and i am sure it works just wonders. I will try it out but i would personally squeeze the vitamin capsules after the serum is fully strained and ready to be bottled so as not to loose any part of its goodness and full potential in the peels etc that we strain and remove. I was 🤔 making the same thing why dehydrate the orange peels when your going to rehydrate them anyway and why add the vitamin E when you won't get the full strength and why add aloe gel when you can just add aloe. I love the recipe I'm just going to try it with fresh products and see what happens
