    Lost 2 conger last night. Similar spot Hooks pulled
    Any tips on when to lift into them? I could feel it shaking its head and pulling down then nothing. The 2nd one was a lot stronger than the first and got me into the rocks, hook pulled after 10min wrestle with it.

    Why a short pulley rig? Is that personal preference? Seen other people with 8 foot long up and overs, cheers.

      I've had more success on very short pully rigs for conger they fish alot better than long ones I like them anchored down on the sea bed. Plus it stops eels from spinning your trace witch is what has happened with longer traces.
