Let me tell you an interesting story,
I was a student of medicine in Ukraine ( or perhaps still I'm) and stipendium Hungaricum launched a students at risk programme for us . I got my letter of award and acceptance letter from from University of Debrecen but now when I'm applying for my visa ...I don't have my class 12th marksheet ( it's still there in Ukraine as I'm still enrolled there) though we have digitally verified documents at a govt site in India which is a true copy but Idk if that would be enough...so basically I'm fcuked ..you got any idea about it ?

Do I still need to get another health insurance or is this already enough?
No, as I mentioned you need to get a travel medical insurance. It’s valid for a month and after your scholarship will be covering your insurance.
The Hungaryian Embassy in Kenya asked that the student previous degree or academic records have to be legalized ? Did you do the same?
so we need "Application for Residential permit" form for visa application as well? If so, do we have to apply for Residential permit separately once we go to hungary or Application for Visa and Residential permit is done together? Thanks

Is it possible that they may overlook the fact that I can't provide a medical insurance paper in my country? Or is this a mandatory paper for all applicants all over the world?

The ones that I talked about are the general ones. Some embassies may require your diplomas or certain amount of money on your bank account, but the rest is similar.
About the insurance, I am sure you should have it. Just Google “Insurance company near me” and you will be able to get a one month travel insurance. It’s not that expensive. But also check the embassy in your country. Who knows, maybe they don’t require one.

No, you are all good. Email them as soon as possible and they will send you a new one.( I has the same issue)

Hey! Some Embassies still require a bank statement which should have some money 💴 They just need to make sure that you have enough money at least for the first 3 months

I would recommend first using Skyscanner to track the prices. I booked my ticket with Turkish airlines, but there are much cheaper options depending on where you are flying from.

I am 3rd year medical student from Ukraine and want the admission in debrecen so I thought i will take the paid admission now and in November apply for scholarship and from next year I will have the scholarship. Depends on where you are coming from. For example I have 2 options. To fly to Latvia and then Budapest or to Turkey and then Budapest. The first option will be +-$350
And yes, you need to have all of your documents on the day of the appointment

Absolutely, you can, but you will need to pay though. I am not sure how much it is, but should not be more than $150 per month.

Hello, I am not sure, but I believe that due to the conflict they have accepted a lot of students from Ukraine. That’s why I would recommend to directly email university of Debrecen as they are really helpful and responsive. They will give you more details
