It does. Though personally I'll stick with my PC version. I just hope Overkill and Sunbreeze do a better job keeping things up to date with these console release than with the 360 and PS3 releases.

First time heisters: for pity's sake, learn to be stealthy.
Start with regular bank jobs and practice eliminating as many guards that walk to the roof or outside as possible as well as the camera guy before taking the main floor. Kill the cashiers and make sure nobody hits the alarm near the back. After that, it's a cake walk.

It aint just noobs. I've played with high lvl ppl who think that just because they are lvl V100 they're good but when they try to do a stealth mission the fail. Not just one but several times.
For all the people about to say, another last gen port/Re-release! - well done for your observation, your cookie is located in the pantry.
For people like me who didn't get to play it last gen, woop woop! We get to play it for a low low price, bundled with all the Dlc and masks. :)

I hope OVERKILL actually provide support for this game after release unlike the last-gen console versions of the game. Compare them to PayDay 2 on PC and it might as-well be a different game!
Im not sure and i could be wrong but i think it is sony and micrsoft who dosn't allow the DLC content. Im sure Overkill wants to make the game perfect on consoles to but cant because the console companys dont allow big updates.

Big updates are allowed, but developers had to pay for each update to Sony or Microsoft. This generation is different and more accessible for developers.
They should have called this: Payday 2 - We have heists edition
One of my favorite games, developers and soundtracks.
If you own A PS4 or XBONE and haven't tried this yet well its a must imo, I have gotten my monies worth from this series ten fold.
I was worried about payday 2 because of some of the shifts in terms of new hands at the helm but it has improved in many ways and although payday 1 is my fav because it was a one of a kind gem when it was released I can say the payday 2 offers a bunch more than the original in terms of pre planning, new skill sets, tons of maps and guns as well as masks. So many different ways to also take on a heist in terms of mechanics as well so TLDR : PayDay2 is a fine example of what a sequel should be = building upon existing mechanics, adding new ones as well as improving the overall exp unlike many sequels we see today that seem nothing more than a copy and paste of a core base only adding some rescinded/new assets while offering the player nothing new in terms of exp.
Would like to see them give offer a remsatered payday 1 for the pre order incentive, which would be great for new players as well as give the player population on payday 1 a new breath of life for the 360/ps3/pc version

This is most likely the last nail in the last gen payday's coffin. I see no reason why they would do that. I don't think they really care about the couple of people who play this game on the last gen.
Lol you know when the game came out? They had so much time to do something for us, but they didn't they just gave us 3 "Noob" DLCs which they can put themselves into their Heistholes

I hope to god that they allow people to transfer stats from old to current gen, who cares if some people modded there game saves, it doesn't affect overkill and alot of us also played that game legit and don't want to start over again, they should allow this and be glad that we are supporting them buy getting their game.
As someone who has only experienced this game on the Xbox 360, I am more than exited for this masterpiece.

i highly doubt it man your PS3 version is so out of date its not even relevant anymore, they have changed so much with the leveling systems, skills and perk overhauls. i mean hell even if you were lvl100 you could get to that in like 2 days flat and then its all about going infamous and card farming

WarRemains it isnt just about getting infamous and cards. I've played with ppl that are lvl V100 but they suck, the only reason some of these ppl get to that level is cause they do rat job over and over again, so when they reach max lvl they try a different heist and it doesnt matter how easy the heist may be they fail miserably cause they suck.

Stealth was never broken. At least not on PS3 it wasn't. I could do an entire mission stealth and if someone saw me it took them the right small unit time to notice me.

I hope they can find a lot of success with this release and that they can afford to hire more people. I love the game but man, it seems like they don't have enough people to fix all they want and the game needs as well as bring us new content.
I believe they hired LionGameLion to make heists for the game (The Butcher Contracts and I think they helped with the White XMas heist)

ROFL, these current gen systems are so underpowered. Last gen games at 60fps and higher resolution textures are the cream of the crop.They really should have waited until 2016 to release "next gen", because honestly, consoles need a 780/ 280x level of GPU to be able to do anything "next gen".
First off did they ever even fix the last gen console versions of this game? I stopped playing on ps3 prolly a couple months after its initial release, and there still was nothing you could do in that empty room you have in the game that you start out in. But if the graphics are better and all the bugs and problems are fixed I think I could pick this one up on ps4.
Are you an idiot? That room is just to familiarise yourself with some things. You're supposed to finish the objectives there then log onto to CrimeNET via the main menu/the laptop in the starting area...

I understand the place was used for teaching how to crack locks, using guns etc. But after just reading the manual and checking the wiki, customization to the safe house was supposed to be possible apparently for "bragging rights" among players, but this is still NOT or has been implemented into the game. Customization is what I was talking about when I said "there was nothing for you to do". This games multiplier didn't even work day one on consoles which is why I'm curious of what they did and didn't end up fixing.

Before assuming I had forgotten about the "Tutorial" part of the safe house and calling me an idiot for it, you should have thought it through a bit more.
