Definitely keep the sewing machine ! The drawers & legs are worth money. I have taken mine & repurposed it into a table with a drop leaf on top of the of the legs. The 2nd one I turned into a cabinet. I removed the Sewing machine sold it .Then I put a solid top cross where the doors open & turned it into a cabinet. It's now in the bedroom holding my TV,looks amazing
STOP STOP STOP !!!DO NOT SCRAP NEW HOME SEWING MACHINE !!!!! The base alone is worth 3 to 400.00 alone . look it up I did. vintage 1900 .Rare valuable . Happy new year . Watch you everyday on you tube via my smart tv .
Sell the sewing machine in one piece, go through the drawers but save everything old sewing stuff like wooden tread spools and thimbles are very collectible. 🤓 The silver thing is a auto battery post cleaner. 724 pounds total. God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇮🇱
My dad used to shoot his rifle off in the air to bring into the New Year in KC (Missourah rah rah rah😂) but here in NC there's always a sprinkling of folks who shoot off fireworks. Good find on that old sewing machine!
Hello Matt! Happy New Year! That's a beautiful machine. You could try to sell it first and if that doesn't work you can scrap it. The reason the bike bit you was because you grabbed it! Lol Great job today!
Try to sell the machine. If it doesn’t sell, scrap it. The accessories for the sewing machine can be worth money as well. My guess on the weight is 875 lbs. Happy New Year!
I picked up a singer sewing machine table in a scrap e-waste pick up (so was a random addition), same design style, I just couldn't scrap it, so I put it up on market place and it sold in a day. They are not worth as much as people think but way more than scrap and they are beautiful. The couple I sold it to did a lovely refurb on it so I was pleased. Anyway, wishing you all the best for 2024!
Hello😊 nice first video 👍There are people who are dedicated to restoring those old sewing machines, it is a shame to take them to the scrapyard. I think maybe 900 lbs ... so see you on the next one😎🇪🇦
lol thought I’d got away with the hey microwaver song take that jibe was just to let me know the song is a keeper lol well done Matt love the banter brilliant it’s only friendly stuff
Hey Nacho I went out yesterday and got a van load and also picked up a whole bunch of wire and I've already started cleaning the wire up for making no one copper out of it the Carolina scrapper😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Don't know about the States but here you're only looking at $300 fully restored and that's more than a couple of hours work in that machine. Worth more repurposed than scrap.
Happy New Year! Best of luck in the new year to you! May all of the scrap land in your hands, and may you find all of the precious metals in town! I like the Dick Clark show. I hope they don't change the name. We stayed in last night ate our blackeyed peas for luck and celebrated the incoming New Year with a toast. It was a great night. Happy New Year to all! 🎉❤
That things nice peice and some one will get excited about it just like you did the money is in the cast iron and the name .can be used to decorate etc
Happy New Years Matty.... So my opinion with that sewing machine is take the base off...clean it up best you can an paint it ....than get a nice piece of finished plywood not a full sheet obviously but not super small either an install it to the painted base an put some tiles you find on it an grout it an make a mosaic table.... That little silver round thing you found an threw in your collection garbage can is an automobile battery terminal cleaner... An I just wanted to thank you for telling me about the Nerd candy Clusters....lol...I got into a mood for candy an take a wild guess at what I bought...lol...I got both flavors...lol
New years is loud cause we have boom city sell fireworks with about 25 stands after Christmas and 4 th of July there's about 150 stands selling for 3 weeks

Someone may be interested in the sewing machine for the different parts and also for what is in the drawers.
I'd take the sewing machine to a collector since it's vintage
Someone would want that sewing machine for parts alone
My dad used to shoot his rifle off in the air to bring into the New Year in KC (Missourah rah rah rah😂) but here in NC there's always a sprinkling of folks who shoot off fireworks. Good find on that old sewing machine!

Use the bottom with a glass top - easily worth $100 or more.
My mom has that as one of her tables at the B&B
