🥺🥺🥺 Writing comments as I watch lol 1. I'm glad the string of pearls arrived well! I was really nervous about pearls falling off when packing that one but it looks like it arrived perfect!! 2. The Orange marmalade got a little crumpled on the new leaf 😦I hope it turns out ok hardened off! The orange is literally sooo vibrant on new leaves. I can't wait for you to watch them come in! 3. The Clarinervium was a bonus! I repotted my big Clarinervium a week before shipping and it had been growing that pup... And I do remember you talking about how you regretted getting rid of your last one so I thought you might like to start another one. 😅 4. The Silver bay got crumpled too, I'm sorry! I had such a hard time wrapping up that monster 😂 I have been growing mine in mostly low light and they tolerate it totally fine - but they grow so much faster in bright light! I'm so glad you love everything and it arrived well. I had so much fun doing this trade!!
Omg!! They are all perfection - don't be hard on yourself! The new leaf on the marm is already looking great :) And it's honestly so nice that you thought to send me your clarinervium pup what the heck 🤧
Yes hahah totally! When I first got into plants I really wanted the prince of orange and never ended up getting one. Now it's like I have something similar but better haha :)
Beautiful plants! I love that you mention other plant channels. I just subscribed to his channel after watching this. He has incredibly well cared for plants 🪴 💖🌿
I'm watching this because I just spent a bunch of money on plants, and now that I've watched this, I want to go plant shopping 😢. That's such a beautiful box!!!!
The silver bay is by far one of the easiest, prettiest most prolific grower I’ve ever owned. Moderate lighting, and room humidity. That plant is so underrated bc it’s common I think but it’s so beautiful ❤
My Dragon’s Breath is so rewarding to grow. She goes through dormancy with no leaves for me and freaks me out every year, but she’s so full and happy this year. I’m so delighted you get to share that joy as well!
You got some good ones! I’m so glad you love the Agleonema! They are such easy growing plants. They are EXTREMELY drought tolerant too. I live in south Louisiana and it’s sooooo damn hot that mine was so dry it was completely wilted over. After watering, it bounced right back. I have the jubilee (similar to silver bay with more variegation) and the tigress! I also just recently got a no Id philo and can’t tell if it’s a prince or orange or orange marmalade.
That Orange Marmalade is gorgeous! Aglaonema are my favourite plants and the Silver Bay is actually on my wish list for after I move in a couple of weeks time - it's stunning. My Super White Aglaonema is my favourite out of my collection (and I have a sensational collection of plants) but I also have my eye on a Chocolate Aglaonema as well as the Aglaonema Stripes too. Reliable, beautiful and rewarding... my favourite kinda plant!
Wowzers...that Orange Marmelade...new wish list plant...I'm crazy about phillys & swore that after my Florida Ghost aquisition...I would not purchase any more...(this year...)...but after seeing your new O.M. ...I'm going to look for 1 right now...Hugs from Sandy Pond,NY on Lake Ontario
I have the Aglaonema silver bay and love it 😍 such an easy to care for plant! Mine grows pretty fast and it never had any troubles, definitely can handly harder times! 😁 I thing it's better to keep is at a lower place so that you can appreciate its beautiful foliage from the top! 😉
I love my Orange Marmalade, such a great plant! Recently I've noticed that i think there are two different versions of this plant. I've had mine for a couple years and every leaf from the beginning has been large and the internodal spacing is really tight. I now see plants that have the same color and being sold as Quad Color that are more vining and grow tall. So I think they are actually different plants though they look to have similar bright orange leaves. Or there is another hybrid that has the same leaves and they are being sold interchangeably, Regardless, very cool!
I'm so excited you got the SOP! You can easily prop SOP in moss in case you want to take some cuttings! I have my SOP in full sun and it's been 90F here for a week now in San Diego, CA. I've had mine for a year now and so far no sun damage or loss of pearls! Good luck with your new trade❤
Very beautiful plants and such nice packaging too. I have wanted a string of pearls for a long time. I hope you have great success with yours too. Maybe I will try one. :-)
My grandma has an Aglaonema Silver Bay and it grows so fast for her and it’s so beautiful!! I keep thinking about asking for a cutting! Hers has a stem that curved down out of the pot and curved back up. It’s so funky and cute
I love my silver bay! It's absolutely beautiful but so overlooked! I got mine a little over a year ago...my husband brought it home to me because a bank had thrown it out and he thought I would like it. It was huge...like 5 feet tall or so...but it was leggy because it had lost so many lower leaves. I looked on the pot and it was the original and had a tag from 2016...so it was like six years old. There were no pests but it was super pot bound! I repotted it and cut it down to the ground and propagated the upper portions. I think I now have six of them including the mother who has grown back, full and lush. They grow so well where others won't and again, they're so beautiful and not fussy.
@@wildfern LOL they have been! I murdered string of hearts, variegated sting of hearts, string of needles, string of pearls, Oh and a Hoya Retusa one of my favorite plants ever.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Nice plants! The hospital where I work has some silver bay and other aglaonema that are 3-4 feet across lol. Also a fiddle leaf fig that is like 7-8 feet tall!
You are so adorable, love how you freak out about your plants. Also thank you under your direction i have turned one Monstera into three just yesterday, so i now have a seven leaf, a four leaf, atwo leaf in water and asingle leaf (cross your fingers) LIKE!
My prince of orange was annoying bc of how compact it was, and I’ve been trying to get my hands on an orange marmalade, I want a baby like yours so I can grow it up, so cute!!🫨😍
I have a silver bay aglonema too! I got mine off a "freebie" table at a local swap. At first I wasn't sure if I would keep it but it's become one of my favorites. Super easy to care for but I will warn you it will grow quickly!
Awesome! When I grew the dragons breath from corm, it grew a gorgeous first leaf, lost it, and then took a long time to recover and grow another leaf-so don’t give up hope. The roots were probably the best roots I’ve ever seen from a corm, so I don’t know if it was an outlier or specific to this type of alocasia.
Aglonema are super hardy plants. One thing I can tell you is give them airy soil. I don’t have silver bad but I do like them. A friend of mine has a huge one.
I ❤️❤️❤️ my silver bay!! His name is HiHo!! I have had him for almost 5 years now and he is just stunning!! Such an easy going, always looks good plant!! Have fun watching yours grow!
Ahhh how fun - I looove crystal star! And no sadly not :( buuut I didn't use a base or top coat like I normally do because my nail supplies were still packed. I'll be giving it another go while doing it properly to test it again because I love the colour so much!
Yay I’m so happy for you! I personally love agleonema. I have a silver bay and a few others. They are the easiest to care for too! But I have to tell you Fern! Last week a friend bought me an Algeonema Pictum Tricolor!!!! Oh my gosh! I would never ever buy it for myself. It is stunning! I stare at the leaves daily and I am amazed at its beauty! Nature is amazing! 💚🌱💚
Oh no wayyy - that is so awesome that you got the pictum tricolor! I don't doubt that it is phenomenal to see in person :) I can sense more aglaonema hopping onto my wishlist in the future lol...
I love the lamination on those stickers! I recently got an alocasia pin for my backpack and it's stunning! Alocasia is definitely my favourite plant family I have four of them in my tiny collection.
GIRL, I work for a nursery and the silver bay is hands down my #1 plant I sell. It doesn't need shit!!! Low light-no problem. Forget to water-no problem. Such an awesome plant!!! I myself, just picked up a Ring of Fire today and I'm hype!
I have a silver bay. I find it’s an easy care plant. I also have the green and variegated string of pearls which I heard do well in an east facing window. Mine like the east facing window. Enjoy your beautiful new plants 🪴💚
omggg so happy for the Ag love my silver bay is literally the easiest plant in my collection, only thing you can do wrong is overwater! Have you seen the Agleonema ghost frosted? its top of my wishlist rn
So happy you finally got your orange marmalade! ❤ I got mine because of you mentioning it (and how gorgeous the plant is) and have had it about 6 months 💕
Omg I’d love to do a trade with you, I feel like we both have a lot of each others wishlist plants from your most recent wishlist update, love to help you check some off!

Thanks. It's a total reconstructive surgery on my right foot, so it's a 3 to 6 month recovery. I have a baby orange marmalade and I got my sundew today, they don't ship well at all. I recommend if you want one you buy in person.

Love all the newbies. I definitely want the silver bay. Just love the silver and eventually tackle the string of pearls. 🥰

Our orange marmalade is regularly putting out 2 foot long leaves, still increasing with each one! Its one of our favorite specimens!
