Taiwan holds a disaster response drill to bolster its civil defense and resilience to emergency disasters. Around 200 volunteers, police officers, firefighters and medical personnel join in a drill simulating large scale explosions in the city. The de facto US envoy to Taiwan, Raymond Greene, and Taiwan’s Vice President Bi-Khim Hsiao are expected to attend.
