I would have liked a time-limited cap to levelling. First week, capped at 15, increasing to 30 for two weeks, then two again at 45, then again at 55, then a three week gap until unlocking, finally, to 65. I played on the level 30 cap NWA beta and it was so fun to max out a level 30 character and PVP with, the world felt busy right up to the end and meta for weapons and armour was so different. Having this sort of time-delayed levelling process would have let us experience multiple different PVP metas, and do all our content/fighting in different locations. It also lets you pretty easily cap out before the world blasts to 65, giving you more time to "catch up", each time. Let's face it, wars, races, OPR (which should be enabled at each cap), 3v3s and so on, would be amazingly fun.
They should just add in new servers that are PVP flagged 24/7 but not do all this extra shit. I'd play that and then they can keep working on making real content.
They should add crescents blade and yeetersons hammer into the main worlds as the seasonal worlds come to the close. Like those are really cool things i would like to see forever.

I’m confused. I just started the game. So I’m forced into pvp after this update? At all times? So if I’m just wondering around trying to get something done I can get attacked and killed by other players outside the pvp zone? Do I lose my stuff? If so, I’m done. I’ve worked real hard and put in a lot of hours into this game in a short time period. And reading the comments I can’t imagine what other people are feeling. Especially putting in over 5k hrs.
Fixing PvP is so simple, yet, they cant do that, probably because of the failure that is Scott Lane and a lead. 1- PvP balance once or twice a month (just value tweaking) 2- One new OPR map, or new OPR game mode, every 2 months. (is just a simple as taking a piece of the map, copy pasting it, and instancing it, BOOM! A NEW MAP) 3- PvP currencie that can be used to buy gear, utilities, upgrade PvP gear, and buy cosmetics. 3 -A clear and denitive roadmap, so people know exactly when and where the game is going. Its not that hard, its not reinventing the wheel.
Damn as someone who hasnt played New World in a long time and was excited for this, all of the negative comments have me wondering if itll be worth it to come back. Keep in mind I quit after 1 year and 2k hours so there is a lot of new content I have not experienced, basically I barely played the desert biome update but I did play it a lil. Im a Rust player so regrinding doesnt bother me like it would bother some people. I get that New World lacks content, but I dont get how this server isnt exciting to PVP heads who have the time to grind.

As a new player, me and my group have fell in love with this game. I would say the only downside is that there is less open world pvp and more matchmaking content. We're all going to the pvp servers due to this.
The thing is.. Its still just OPR, Arena, War rinse and repeat. I'm not sure if making it seasonal with 25% xp bonus is enough to bring people back. Every time me and my friends see these "updates", we always ask "is it still just war and opr?", because the large scale team play is what we loved the most.

I believe that New world should just have 5 pve only servers and 5 pvp only servers. Also all gear and weapons should require you to repair with repair kits. Have repair kits weight 0. They should have pvp exclusive gear and weapons only in pvp servers with the addition of a few fight to the death dungeon delves where players fight for an exclusive pvp artifact. Maybe a delve for every piece of gear and have everyone duke it out. I was a developer at one point in my life. And those are my little ideas.
What they should do is make hte progression turbo fast. Everyone has 250 crafting off the rip no grind there and so the minute you are in the server you are chasing gear that is also super easy to get but also fast to lose. I will not go onto this seasonal server to grind skills. I just want to jump in get the gear and get toe the fun part. Get some transmogs and rewards for all my characters. I kinda wish thou for playing on the seasonal server it would give us something more meaningful to all our characters.
Wolf packs will be the meta, Everfall is going to be a sh*tshow, and the few sweatlords who get to max level first will have a huge advantage. It's another half-baked attempt from AGS. Thumbs up for good videos.

People like to talk a big PvP game, but when it comes right down to it, they're not about that life and this will prove it when only a handful of sweats are left playing these servers. Then at some point when it's at its lowest population, some PvErs will start playing to farm free uncontested mats.
Current player thoughts here: Everyone here gave them this data when they decided to go fresh start. You literally gave them the numbers on fresh start and they think you enjoy re doing the main story quest with all your alt accounts. This is the worst idea since you’re dividing a declining player base … make it make sense.
This is my concern too. EVERY season they will have to create a new seasonal server with unique gear and mechanics. This is going to take away an enormous amount of development time on the live servers which means even less content than we are getting now.

How is AGS introducing PvP servers in season 7 with the current state of the combat mechanic. Remove auto lock on and revert combat mechanic to season 5. Time to uninstall target lock on with controller is broken DOA.

Zerg will farm weaker opponents and companies with their numbers, regardless of the lifespan of the server. Your "real pvp server" is going to be just as dead in 3 months anyway, so might as well plan for that out the gate.

Lasts about a month, then the 10% of players on the new servers that really know the game, have lots of time and guild/grp to run with, will gank while avoiding serious fights until only those 10% are left. And since they want easy mode kills they will complain complain complain and then go back to regular servers. Happens every time in this type of MMO game setup. Total waste of time by AGS. Why can't they fix FFA island or make races better? (races are meh 80% of the time) At least we get a new battleground I guess. NW will be just war loggers again in 6 months.
Why would you add the need to regrind life skills and artifacts to a seasonal world? That and the zerg fest this is sure to be with basically no rewards...hard pass.

25% exp boost to the servers is hilarious. should be a 300%+ increase for a server like this. Leveling is not the point of this server.

No they already confirmed at season end all the season specific gear an weapons will go as they will not be balanced for other servers..
