Wow, great choices! It’s been a while since I’ve been in the knife game, and I’m so glad to see how well your channel is doing! That’s awesome! Congrats!
Great list Stassa, I just got in one of these myself! I bought the Magnacut Kershaw Bel Air the day after Christmas! I got the BladeHQ exclusive in blue Ti and it’s AMAZING! That knife along with the QSP Penguin in S90V that I got is another fave of mine this year! My 3rd fave this year is the Divo Nip Lite, and I bought 3, so that should tell you how much I love that knife! Happy New Year Brother and I look forward to all the great content you’ll be releasing in 2025! 👍🏻
I’m surprised I haven’t seen any RUclipsrs complaining or commenting on vosteeds pivot lock button breaking off. The Ankylo I have broke twice in 3 weeks so I just quit using it. Definitely not impressed with my first vosteed.
I love triangles. I appreciate all the meanings and functionalities with them. I've 3 triangles(intentionally 3) tattooed on my body. That WE Tyrel, for me, is just all nope. That's just me though. Great list, Stass. 🤘🏼✌🏼
My favorites were from vosteed and Kizer. Really like the acorn and the mink. I want to buy the marten and the psyop and maybe a corgi. Kizer had some great fixed blades this year especially the smolt and the muskrat
The only models I tried for the first time this year that earned a permanent spot in my collection were the Native Chief, the WE Praxis and the Militaw. I also liked the Bel-Air, but crossbar locks just don't seem to have lasting power with me. I never feel like I can trust a crossbar lock and wind up going back to a frame lock, back lock or something like the Manix 2. I'm usually pretty biased towards USA-made knives, but both the Praxis and the Militaw are clearly legend status designs. Native Chief is too, but I need either that CruCarta version or AWT to release some aftermarket scales for it to really hit perfection like the Native 5 does.
Love the Loki. Under 3" blade too so legal in Los Angeles. I held back on the Buckhorn until the cheaper 14C28N came out and it is worth it, especially when it went on sale for $125. I would personally have put the FM-1 at the top of these knives. Love that thing.
@@sloanNYC I love the FM-1 as well but the new owners of Cold Steel did some Rea shady stuff with a bunch of reviewers so they kinda left a bad taste in my mouth 👌🍻
Idk if im wrong, but it seemed like in your thumbnail I saw the swiss tech losung knife? Idk if you have experience with it and I know its not the best value, but I was wondering how you thought it was overall! I absolutely love the look and most knifes that look similar in terms of classy are liner or frame lock which im not a fan of. Trying to convince myself to just pull the trigger haha
@@I3asyl it’s definitely a good first higher end knife from them. I am actually carrying it right now, mine has some button stick but not bad. I don’t love the blade finish it feels like it my corrode because it’s pretty ruff feeling. I haven’t started the testing yet so that’s all I can really say so far 🍻
The Griffin X Series bolster lock was one of my top 3. The Kizer Hawk was my favorite in this range. I didnt like the Psyop. Its all belly and...idk...it just didnt do it for me. Have you saw the High Grains Designs Deville? I got it coming and it may be number one. The Excalibur should be here soon too.
That remette is so cruel. They’re like “let’s get all these lefties excited over a remette with a filler tab, then at the last minute we’ll reveal it’s actually a toothpick! That’ll teach them, we’d rather add a debatably useful tool that’ll probably get lost immediately than add a clip mount for the incorrect 10% of the population!”
Surprised not to see real steel up there more. Specially the perix. Need to be more choices available for left hand. Too many knife designers are making their knives for right hand carry only.
@@Pete-wr4kj still bad but I was at least able to finish editing this one today and if it still hurts by the 2nd I will go get a shot that usually helps some and maybe some more PT 🍻
I appreciate the diligence to ferret out these knives from lesser known brands; however, if they're not available from the major retailers I'm just not interested enough to search them out because experiences tells me most won't be readily available. A bird in the hand and all that. I can't cut anything with promises. Second observation, you really like chunky, non-ergonomic handles. To each his own but I'll take a pass. So, too, with anything that has a front flipper. They are not handy, you have to shift your grip to use, they never open as well as a standard flipper which is why most all of them have a secondary opening method. Just save the ugly front flipper for the two people who care.
@@lenzielenski3276 I hate flippers and front flippers unless the design really speaks to me. As for as lesser known from this video I’ve had the chance to meet the owners at blade show and they have been around for a while regardless if it’s a great knife great value I’ll continue to show them 🍻
I used to be against buying Chinese knives & I still prefer American designs more overall. However, American knife companies are pricing themselves out of the market. There are a lot of Chinese manufacturers putting out high quality knives for a fraction of the cost. However, I will not buy a Chinese knife that cost as much as a high end American knife.
Best knives of the year mean “best knife” not best company. So to put the Ticon1 at 7 because it’s their first model and you want to make sure the company sticks around makes zero sense
My favorite knife was the wizard even though it was very expensive but it’s not shown here

Received the Large Pyrite Light and Tenable Rafe L and ColibriTech today. All awesome.
Have the Ankylo and Neurohaptic arriving friday.

Vosteed Marten looks really promising. I still everyday my Knafs Lander 3 and Lander 2.
The ketuo yakuza was one of my favorites of this year
This price range by as the most bang for the buck IMO.
🔥Fireball🔥 #1 by far, Tempest Microjet, and probably Kizer Militaw
My top five…1. Kershaw Belair 2. Demko Shark Cub in 20CV 3. Karbon Buckhorn (aluminum) 4. Vosteed Valhund 5. Lander 2 clip point
Love that Havorn! I jus a flipper addict. Another I've always loved although not a 2024 but, similar blade style the MKM Goccia.
Berg blades tick, sharp by design mini tempest and the sweeney of course.
Ankylo, psyop, fireball, and tristache, but I don't remember the price. My favorites from this year

Ticon1 🔥
My favorite knife this year is a tie between the Kizer mini Militaw and the Artisan Wizard.
