You pop roaming supers before you invade. You have less time, but they have less time to react due to the lack of the audible cue. You do something similar in 9:13.
The best team strat is to clear two waves and dunk. But there you can do as a solo player to enforce this.
You are also missing out a good feature that your first build has. You talked about having a team to get your still hunt charged, but your build is already spec'd out for it already to get your own orbs. I think you melee'd once per wave. Melee kill (Heavy Handed), dodge, sidearm kill(reaper), voltshot kill(arc siphon). You will generate three orbs with this rotation every time. You could just triple down on heavy handed and generate an orb for every melee kill. You have that in your still hunt build already, but I think you left out the reaper mod. For the still hunt build, I would put on one healing mod and the rest into the grenade one, so you can get your grapple more often. Its crazy fun.
If you want your super faster, you should try hands on. You already have tier 10 intellect, so getting your super before the first invasion is possible.
Your ability to take advantage of Hunter's crazy vertical mobility is unnatural for gambit players. You should be getting army of ones easy.
Also note that popping a super as you enter desyncs your player model when you invade. Practically impossible to play against which makes it super unfun, haven't seen it done recently though thank god
@@tripleg928 for some reason I thought they fixed that?
great advice. I liked the rotation you explained. I just started to play Hunter and I will def be using that.
bro is gambitmaxxing 💀
Quick note. Don't put on the heal mod on boots. Instead, slap on the fragment that gives resto on orb pickup with Solar supers
Cammy the kinda guy to limit himself to 2 gambit loadouts, and keep the rest for his garden of salvation builds 😎
Camm ruining gambit for regular people is actually funny.
Wdym ruining it? He's good, but not as overwhelmingly oppressive on the enemy as some invaders ive dealt with.
@@Salemander5000 i think he is more saying that showing off this build ruins gambit for regular people
@Shquahbz i don't see how it would - the build isn't really anything too special, even if it's good.
running a near optimal loadout isn't ruining gambit for other ppl smh
@@Shquahbz the regular ppl you're so concerned about are complaining about ritual pathfinder cause they have to play gambit or pvp
kinetic holster comes in clutch w izzy for those rare moments where someone has damage resist and somehow survives a honed bodyshot
Cammy really is everyone’s favorite Gambit RUclipsr. 🎉
after 2 years I have yet to find a gambit player who knows what they are doing
He knows what he’s doing
@@wat_omy you dont get it ):
@@basharjirjees8815 skill issue I fear
@@wat_omyoh no, you are looking for an argument. I simply aint gonna waste my time on you.
have a nice day.
theyre out there and it is a miserable experience to play vs them with an unoptimized loadout
He banked 13 motes! Call the Gambit police!
min maxing gambit is crazy, pls make more Camm
Lorentz Driver is very ammo efficient when invading. You can easily keep some telemetry’s on the ground and proc Lagrangian sight on command and invade with 30 seconds of 1 shot body shots.
Also the headshot portal thingy can clear adds 👍
So far in my experience there are three things I aim for in Gambit:
- Speed
- PvP performance
- Boss Damage / PvE performance
Speed: in short, GET THE FIRST INVASION. Why? Easy.
Clean two zones and bank all the motes. In the best case scenario you caught the enemy team with their pants down trying to clean the third spawning zone, in the worst case scenario you just delay them in their cleaning
This is important because by the time they react, your team is already half way or on their way to bank again, which makes a counter-invasion from the enemy team quite diluted in terms of damage. And of course, your team is one or two steps closer to the Primeval
PvP Performance: If the point above is met, and even if not, you need at least one guy that is going to take care of the invasions / defend the team during a counter-invasion. Doesn't matter if you can melt the boss in one phase if the enemy invader gave their team 3 phases of advantage compared to yours
Boss Damage / PvE performance: Easy, you must have a way to deal with the boss if your team is down, didn't bring anything good or you are falling behind.
So far my Titan Arc build has Speed and PvP performance but if I need to use my super or run out of heavy... I really hope my team can damage the boss before the enemy melts their.
Gambit is my casual play list where I'm still challenged.
a lot of gambit playes are challenged
If I switch my heavy, two of my strike loadouts ARE my gambit loadouts, Cammy!
That movement was absolutely mindblowing
succesion w/ demo and recombination (aka izanagi at home)
symmetry
eger edge sword
Don't sleep on symmetry. go in with 20 stacks, you can keep hip firing, and you'll get people behind cover with it. absurdly broken gambit gun.
Good gameplay. Fun watching your play style and explanations in the beginning
I've loved Gambit ever since it came out. Super cool to see some Gambit content for you!
I have ONE gambit loadout, but it's built to be flexible for multiple subclasses based on what i feel like playing, and on top of that i dont use a loadout slot for it because I prioritize the more specific builds for taking loadout space over just "a set of guns + exotic" combo. Just to answer your question for fun. lmao
More Gambit builds please 🙏
I DO have a Gambit loadout. Knowing almost nothing of Gambit meta, I ran Forerunner and a glaive. I ran Stormcaller so that amplified could move me between waves faster. Arc Souls worked while the glaive was out to consistently give Amplified, and as a bonus (before Indebted Kindness existed), glaive projectiles triggered Spark of Beacons. This video certainly inspires me to cook up some Prismatic improvements to the loadout sometime.
Glaives are so useful in Gambit if you’re playing on the PVE side. Those enemies can sometimes do incomprehensible damage to you, having a glaive to ignore that to finish an objective is so key.
Everybody gangsta till Cammy whips out the blue sniper
Tip about being a warlock, do not sleep in the info a stasis freeze can give you.
Now i want a ranked gambit playlist
I have 3. One for collecting motes fast/add control, one for Boss DPS and one specifically if I'm the main invader.
your video gave me the tech to complete the malfeasance quest in 3 hours
Oh man I am HERE for cammy gambit takes, I know a lot of people dump on the mode but i have a lot of fun with it especially in a stack so it’s super super cool getting to hear other perspectives, strats, solutions etc cos there’s just no real content around for it
Chat if im wrong and there’s some hella dece gambit channels or streamers somewhere out there pls link here lol
Yess more gambit cam please 😂, even if it’s just your average game
Don’t forget, forerunner still gets full ammo on spawn. It’s a great invading weapon and deals huge damage to blockers
This is one of those videos, I'm just here to see Cammy go giga brain. I have not dedicated time to gambit since year 2 when prime was a thing. It was always a more frustrating version of crucible to me and having unreliable teammates. This makes it look fun speed running matches, crack Cammy.
Currently have 3 loadouts for gambit, 4 for crucible, rest are for raids (loadout swapping). Currently sitting at 13 resets for gambit and 3 for crucible. I need that Hush.
I've got one, but it's just my Doom Fangs build tho, so not solely for Gambit.
if you load in on forerunner as soon as you spawn on the ship you can swap to izi and start w more ammo
I won’t pretend, I have one build I make slight tweaks to depending on what I’m playing.
Since you're using grapple, Frostees might be better than Stompees for mobility- same speed boost, but you'll half your cooldowns.
Hey cammy will you do a review on hush? Especially after the nerf for them
iirc amp and a lw gun gives max forward speed so i use an exotic class item w assassin and syntho+spike for clear, been testing gpg for a quicker clear+small mobility but it doesnt mix well, was fun to sling up w high jump and throw when falling then grapple but its the specter now, instead of orb on gun i use super on melee kill, instead of iggy i have a bite of the fox w planted opening and freehand grip for no scopes, also stasis super is so good after getting a kill on someone w 15 motes or when the time is low
i dont remember the build i replaced but it was just shatter skate w aeons for the team, since the 15 mote blocker is heavy on finisher
With a name like you’ve probably seen the power of a dolphin
Love gambit content, can u make a vid on bottom dollar it my fav handcannon
my gambit builds is hunter killing punch build or warlock infinite grenades.
i think the most ever kills i have gotten in one gambit match was like 140~
After all these years I wouldnt be surprised if aachen is Cammy's most used snipe
Oathkeepers and Leviathan's is always fun
I am an Izy Arc Titan crutcher top 1.5%, I have a loadout swap for strongholds 3x kinetic targeting loadout for invades, I have a cuirass loadout for boss bursting, I have my normal synoceps neutral game build. I use blue powerade dares sword for arc and use a 1-2 punch arc shotgun.
Envoys always move clockwise from their last spawn.
As a team you want to bank after 2 waves to get portal.
I haven't played this season but will probably swap to better arc titan (prismatic titan)
My gambit load out consistented of just pop 6 shooter but that was before they nerfed how long it lasts
I don’t think I’ve played a gambit game in 2 years if I’m being honest, and I used to be a gambit main back in arrivals
Sick video
My gambit loadout varies between ashen wake for that first invasion super OR strongholds to be a fucking raid boss
played some gambit yesterday, still hunt rules for invading. Picked up 3-4 kill invades a couple times. "Oh no, they're all on heavy spawn. Anyway, caydes retribution goes brrrrrrrrt"
Two. Polaris Riptide Commeneratiom bonk Titan and a Malf Lucky pants build with Adored for invading.
Most won’t admit gambit is actually fun
Gambit is unfortunately as ignorable as I am at the function
None of my loadouts are super min/maxed but they're all flexible: can be used in pve and pvp and can swap between subclasses with the same exotics or exotics in the same slot so I technically don't have gambit specific loadouts but I keep gambit in mind when making builds because its my favorite playlist but honestly doesn't require much thought when I have so many hours in it. It's the only title I'll bother to gild every season and the only ritual playlist where having dogshit teammates doesn't bother me much because even if I have to carry and we lose I still get to have fun dumpstering bad and toxic invaders who are crutching the same thoughtless solo supers and exotic heavies.
I donno how people manage double special loadouts. Every time i try i literally do not get ammo drops at all.
I’ve got 1 arc titan with synthoceps build and it is stupid broken in gambit
Not ran still hunt or gambit at all rlly this season yet but idk how it wouldn't clear izzy for everything besides anti
They buffed Izanagi this season by giving it +1 reserves by default. You could only hold 5 honed shots and 3 extra bullets, now you can hold 6 honed shots without a reserve mod. With a reserve mod you are still only getting 2 [3] {3} extra bullets which isn't really helping. Resist mods will help not only in pve sections but also on defense reducing all the random chip damage from ads making the invader potentially have to hit another bullet of a primary if they use one for whatever reason.
Does reaper still pick up motes off dodge? It’s been a hot minute since I remembered that it did at some point
Powerful attraction
I got 1, though it's old and needs to be updated.
Damn sick. Can you get me Malfeasance please lmao
I've been using the same Gambit loadout since early 2023 lmao
Never in my life have I seen someone actually play good in gambit. Normally people just jump in with whatever. Build crafting for gambit is generational
I used to grind out prestige 4 on gambit at the end of a season if there was a weapon in it that I wanted a roll of. Obviously what you're doing works, but I find being the most efficient at clear, rotate, and damage is a lot less stressful compared to worrying about invade.
Maybe it's just a level of Stockholm syndrome nirvana only achieved by subjecting oneself to around ~12 hours of Gambit in three days. Maybe it's the fact I play on console and don't have to worry about PC optimization strats. But calibans, incandussy, a reliable special weapon like mttp for rotates or a fusion for blockers, and sleeper for primeval damage. Go as fast as you can, hope your allies will pick up the motes you make, and if you lose you lose.
Couldn't make myself do it last season with how bad the onslaught grind was at the end. Also, this strat allows for muted game music blasting autopilot gameplay.
that is a pretty sub optimal way to farm gambit
@@azerXP I don't disagree, but what in your opinion is optimal? Matches can only be so short, and soloq can be unpredictable with what caliber of ally you're paired with. The aforementioned farm works for me more than others, so that's what I use. I'll readily try out anything that'll spice it up though
Played gambit yesterday, got invade camped, not touching again
Colony
You invade in the same couple spots every time so it’s not hard to do that.
EMERALD COAST PARASITE GANG WE LOVE CAMPING SPAWNS 😈
My hunter has 1 pve build, 1 pvp build, the rest are gambit 😎
POWERFULL ATTRACTION WORKS IN GAMBIT, WHAAAAT!
This has been known for awhile now and doesn't seem to be changing. It also works for Crests dropped in Supremacy.
It also works for Data dropped in the new Episode activity, Breach.
More gambit pls. Maybe camelia could do a free to play gambit gearing guide. ❤❤❤❤
I own one. Its just the Jotunn.
I have one…just one
I kinda forgot about gambit
That was the most ridiculous gambit play I've ever seen.
How do you know the spawn pattern for ads?
Cause it’s set based on enemy type and the map
wait you guys play gambit
I don’t have ANY Gambit Loadouts lol
What's a gambit
Two.
i have 7 gambit loadouts

What’s gambit?
Bro who comes out with a vid about gambit 😂
How can you tell where the invader spawns?
They will always spawn in the zone that no players are in, or furthest from the players if no valid zone is found.
I have 1 gambit loadout
You tried truth ?
Gambit is so easy. Do y’all really need a personal loadout?
wait why are we playing gambit
You now PvP is in a unknown place when cammy is running gambig.
i have like 3 😎
something something fell off
Even this needs to just stop.
