Enjoyed the video, mate. Friend of mine built some of those features years ago. I've been there once on my old XC bike but i've progressed a lot since then and have a trail bike so might try to get back.
I'm in Melbourne and I've been riding for about 2 years and are up to about where you are. I fractured my clavicle and pelvis at Glenrock last year - which puts you back a bit. I hope to get up near Newcastle again later this year. Swansea/Caves Beach tracks look they'd suit my skills.
great to hear your coming back from injury to give it another go! and the glenrock, swansea and newcastle trails overall have been improving, definetly worth the time to ride.
Checked this place out today, but couldn’t find the wooden drop you went down at 2:45. Are those flowy trails down the southern end of the trail network that is shown on trailforks?
This looks awesome! Where can you access the trails from? Can't seem to find anything for Swansea on Trailforks. Features look sick compared to what's at Glenrock!
these trails can be accessed from the highway, and the trails that are on trailforks are nearby so just have a look for them. on trailforks look at caves beach and look at the trails on the west side, just east of the highway
If u go to the end of Strathmore rd there is a and go up the two hills at the top of the 2nd hill u follow the trail to the left and up the rock garden and after about 5 mins of riding u will find an entrance on the right it had a big wooden roll in but it is a bit worse for wear now

How do you get to the whale tale? Tried the Strathmore Rd entry and could only find the little jumps
Nice vidoe and the voice over a is a good amount to me. would love to know where abouts these trails are is I head that way on holidays a bit.
the easiest way to find the trails is on trailforks, just look for the ones nearest to the highway. they are the main ones

yes, so the two areas merge and connect at the bottom in the clearing, and i believe that drop is on trailforks
