Thanks for the walk about, still devastated but it will come back! Waiting for those knots turnout! Give that sweet Joey boy a milkbone on me!🦴 Good stuff!
Thanks James, a lot of trees have come back naturally but I need to plant more. Yeah around 20 acres decimated mostly. Joey is a chill dog, he’d appreciate yer offer!
Paul thanks for the little tour so sad that your property lost all those nice tree's. They will grow back just not in my life time. hit the mother load on those knots, I can't be that lucky lol. Love joey the dog. Is he your new companion?
Yeah, it’s going to take 150 years or more to get back to where it was, by that time the world will be a different place I imagine. Hopefully someone will be able to enjoy them then. Joey is a temporary companion, Just had him around for a bit till I found his owner. He’s back with his real family now. Thanks Mike, hope yer all good and family too!🌝
Thanks Mark, yeah a lot of trees are coming back naturally mostly where moisture and rain collect. My property is very sloped, so some areas have more re-growth than others. 🌝!
When you see the devistation of a fire it is sad. However the only thing more natural than a fire is Birth. Sad but true. The forest will come back. Nature will re-birth and the trees and grass will flourish. Even after we are gone. Hope you are doing good friend.
Thanks Mike, appreciate the thoughts and reflections, I figure we do the best we can while we’re alive for future generations as well. Live life to max and enjoy it and loved ones while we can. All the best to you my friend!🌝
Very obedient dog Paul he's like mine just ignores ya to many smells so much devistation it's so sad to see will your trees come back to life ? depends on the severity and weather conditions like here? And lucky you all them knots and some moisture to all the best Paul be happy
Yeah Joey is attracted to my resident squirrel population. Many new trees are coming back naturally from the fire & heat releasing seeds as a defense mechanism. I still need to plant more though. Thanks Michael, hope all is well!
Oops, your video answers my question from your last one😅 ! Here I have some spruce trees with a C shape, but they are small in diameter! I love Joey !!!
@@SoeCarpeDiem That sounds wicked, wonder if it is from some environmental effects or something else? That is a good idea, I assume you mean posting a pic to the comment. That would be nice.🌞
@@wood-psyche 2 specimens quite far from each other, but here you pique my curiosity, I'm going to do some research, but I don't think it's environmental, well, nothing to suggest that the tree had to get around an obstacle!

Not to worry, are the C shapes in the branches? I’ve never used spruce wood.🌝!
