    So alright levels of HEAT protection. Might be useful against people on that stock HEAT grind still. It reduces the mobility but it might not matter much in some urban maps and may be worth it since it might just save you. However, the big issue is that you can't change mods on your tanks in a match, if you could choose whether to mount the armor package in battle before spawning, it would be a lot more useful.

    I wish there was the ability to only equip level 2 to be slightly more protected against .50 cal while staying mobile. Or at least have the smoke launchers with level 3 (it could have both IRL).
    Oh and the blowout panels still aren’t working

    I think its better for it to be on. Dont want to get .50cal and autocannon'd easily at the front.

      And artillery is really deadly against those US aluminium boxes.

      @@maplearrow1842 If you get artillery'd in a quick moving light vehicle, you kinda deserve that.

      @@hunlepto2239 American stuff isn’t that quick moving (excluding the HSTVL, stryker and AGS) and you can killed by arty because you’re damaged, capping a zone, repairing someone else or trapped behind cover next to enemies.
      For those reasons it’s not always possible to move away.

      @@maplearrow1842 Out of these 4, the only time you can't help it is if you get damaged and I think you're far more likely to be just oneshotted normally instead, so the situation is pretty rare. The rest can be avoided by just being attentive and not getting yourself trapped.

      @@hunlepto2239 I agree you can stop capping, but it takes time to cancel a repair and you don’t get to choose where the enemies are.

    IMO it isnt worth it. You are taking one of your best traits (speed) for protection that isnt really going to help in the situations that get you killed.
    Just go all in with no extra armor and use that extra speed to get better positions.
    OFC it is map dependent, on corridor maps there is basically no downside so its essentially a direct upgrade, even if its not very useful
