I love your declutters so much! You aren't focused on numbers and just legitimately want to keep what you use or want to use and you don't care how big or small your collection is. I sometimes like to hear numbers but it's also satisfying just to see what's going and staying. I need to go thrive my collection but I'm just not ready yet. I have so much I don't use though. Great job!
I'm a little surprised you could part with the Kaleidos highlighters. I love all the peachy pinks and champagne shades and some of the purples. You have so many gorgeous pieces!
Wow! You let go of a lot of highlighters. I definitely think it makes sense to let go of the ones that don't work for your skin tone. This was fun to go through your collection with you. 🤗
Good job! Decluttering is my hardest task because I don’t just want to throw it out because a lot of what I have is from beauty boxes and is basically brand new. So, I don’t know what to do with it.
Your Juno and Co highlighter is called Papillion (Pap-ee-lon) which is French for Butterfly. Such beautiful packaging. You were on a great roll Annette and CONGRATS on your Collab with Odens Eye. Angelica Nyqvist did a review on all 3 of your palettes and she loves them! ❤
You convinced me to try Bitter Lace Beauty (I have 4 from them now!) AND the Noctilucent palette and I have zero regrets! I have one from OE and one from Kaleidos (the new Mars Melter too!) I love those also, you and I seem to have pretty similar tastes in highlighter I think 🙃 love the declutter videos as always, and kudos to you for getting rid of so many older ones!
Ahhh such a awesome declutter! I was shocked to see some kaleidos highlighters finally going! There comes a time though. I think you did amazing at what u got rid of! Now I think I need that sugardrizzle highlighter palette lol I do have the noctilucent one and it's stunning!
I'm interested to see which ones you love. I haven't really found a fav highlighter yet. While I'm quite fair I don't seem to like icy or too bright highlighters. I want them to blend in with my skin and I like different shifts and undertones.
I think you did an amazing job. Maybe the silver highlighter from the shellwe makeup you could have pop that off and saved it on a magnetic palette, but it was great you decided to be practical and just declutter it 😊
Annette can you tell just by looking at a highlighter in the pan - like without swatching - if you are going to like it? I’ve bought a couple that I was SURE I was gonna love, but once I used them they were really meh.
No i really think u need to try them on the face to really know. Ive had some swatch terribly but then look amazing on the skin. U never really know from a swatch with highlighters like u do with eyeshadows
I had a question if you feel comfortable to answer related to the kaleidos highlighters: I have always wanted the moon cruiser one, but I also want to buy the noctilucent palette. Do you think it's necesary to buy both or is there a similar shade on the noctilucent? Anyway, I really enjoyed your video, thank you so much for the declutter series 🧡 It's my 2nd favourite after the make up diaries series 🥰
For me, describing something as wearable is subjective. I tend to look at my makeup as office appropriate or not, but that’s subjective too. I work in finance, so my office appropriate means monochromatic.
I don't care if I have multiple similar products either. Almost all of my highlights are either pale cool pink or white bc they work best on my vampire pale skintone. I can't wear champagne or gold shades because warm tones make me look sick. I also don't have an emotional attachment to makeup and to me, items that expire and can grow mold aren't collectable.
Hi, I need to ask you a question about shimmers, pressed glitters, and multi-chromes. I know you don't use a few of them but my question is, is it better to apply them by themselves with the glitter glue or on top of another shadow? For example, if you own any of the ABH Norvina palettes, in those they have shimmers, at least thats what I think they are. I just wanted to know your intake about applying. I've done it both ways, and the other day and I put it on top of another color and it looked really good, today did the same thing with different colors and it didn't come out good at all.
I think both ways work well. Depends on the shimmers. If they are opaque, layering them over another shadow wont really change anything, but with sheerer formulas, if u put a base under u can get the shimmers to pull different colors depending on whats underneath. I dont think theres a right or wrong way, just play with it, u can always swatch them on ur hand layered and unlayered to see what they will look like over different colors, i do that sometimes
I dont find that a tacky base like a glitter primer will make them look more shiny and metallic and just better in general. But again it depends what look ur going for. If u just want to gently tap a shimmer over an all matte look to add some sparkle, then u probably dont want to use a glitter primer 🤷🏼♀️
@@AnnettesMakeupCorner Hi, ok, that you for all the feed back. I had bought the Break the Rules & The Flare Collection Remixed palettes. The were together on a sale and I couldn't resist. I watched a bunch of youtube videos to see what the colors actually looked like or that they worked, and I couldn't help myself. They are awesome. I have been having so much fun with them. I thought that these kind of shadows wouldn't work on me but they look really good. Have a nice rest of your weekend :)
I can't really rely on you for face shades, but the Pixi surprised me. Bit deeper shades and NO CAST!! Say no more, I hope it is still around to check out!!

i loveeee your declutter videos. i love all your videos!!! 💚💚💚
You only have one face
You are not a collector
You are not a counter
You are so darn relatable

Just get the noctilucent palette, theres a beautiful blue in there!
Thank you so much!!
Love your nails!

I suppose thats also a way to put it, Ive just never worked in an office environment, so I'm not sure what people wear in that setting lol
I can’t answer for every office but my co workers wear mostly matte neutrals. I’m the one that wears color and shimmer.
I work in public accounting so office appropriate means "don't scare the client" neutrals here as well
