    Best sprocket ratio would also be dictated to how hilly the area, that your gonna ride in.

    Hey I’ve recently gotten into GOPED’s and I feel like I’m a decade late but still I really like them I recently bought a super gsr46 and I wanted to know what would be the best gear ratio for a 230lbs person that’s trying to get the most speed from a Goped.

    What gear ratio would you suggest for a top speed of 100 mph?

      14 tooth coming off the motor and a 54 tooth on the wheel. goooooood luck. you'll need a car to tow you to 60mph before the engine will be able to move the ped.

    Hey Derek .. I have a GoPed ESR 750H electric scooter .. I'm looking for acceleration with a top-speed of 40km .. What size front and rear sprocket would you recommend

    • @123DerekShort
      @123DerekShort  8 лет назад

      +Yuvraj Lehr you likely won't go that fast. closest you can get is but going with lip batteries and a torqunator motor. Gearing I can't remember exactly because electric scooters are a bit different with gearing ratios. but typically go up 2-3 teeth in the front and up 7-8 teeth in rear for max top speed.

      +Derek Short I have LifoPO8 24ah battery setup in place .. But running a stock motor currently gets me up to 35km/h .. My rear sprocket is the black 72 DOM not sure how many teeth and the front is the stock.. Again not sure how many teeth .. Sorry I'm new to GoPeds.. Here in Singapore Gopeds are a very expensive alternative to the Chinese scooters .. Hence support out here for these scooters are also limited

      I hear ya there. If you can go up 1 tooth on the front that should get ya real close. If not then you will need to go to a 64 tooth in the year.

      +Derek Short ok so let me get this correct .. If I keep my 72 DOM black sprocket for the rear I should up 1 tooth from stock for the front .. Btw what is the stock tooth number .. Would you know ?

    • @123DerekShort
      @123DerekShort  8 лет назад

      I don't know the stock off hand. but what ever u are at now go up 1 tooth if you can.
