This reminds me of Dynamite Hacks version of Boyz in the Hood. And just like with Boyz in the Hood, I like both versions. I like when a band takes a rap song, changes the tempo, and plays the music on conventional instruments. Conversely, if a rapper redoes a rock/alternative song and put their own spin on it, I like that too. Both situations are dependent on the original being a good song.
