I have been taking vitamin C for years, 10 to 20 gms daily in divided dosages after I read the book written by Dr. Linus Pauling. I need 20 gms when I get the flu. It has anti aging effects too. I’m in my 60s but I look like 40s.

Covid story: A friend came back from visiting his fiance in Brazil and wanted to stop by. I asked how he felt, since Brazil was teeming with covid, and he said fine and was tested but the results wouldn't be in until tomorrow. I said come on over since you're feeling good. He visited for an hour and a half. An hour after he left I felt dizzy and had no appetite; definitely not the symptoms of a flu or cold. The next day I wake up with the same symptons. By midmorning I had take my usual two separate doses of 3000 mg of Vitamin c when his father called and asked me how I was feeling. I told him about the symptoms and he told me to get right to a doctor because his son was sick as hell and his test results came back positive for covid. I started taking 2000mg of vitamin c powder every fifteen minutes with saltines and peanut butter so the salt would give me better absorption. A few hours later, when I had ingested around 30000 to 40000 mg of vitamin c the symptoms went away. It wasn't pleasant drinking all of the water and staying bloating for a while but it was much better than the other options.

I'm amazed I stumbled on this video and read your comment, just 18 hours after it posted. Bravo to you for mega-dosing on the Vit. C & getting such a great result in knocking down the C-19! Wonderful to hear! If you run into any more symptoms, or know anyone who does, please be aware that Dr. Levy also has a protocol he recommends (along with many other doctors, but who have been ignored during this crisis), which involves nebulization of a solution of filtered water + small amt. of hydr. perox. Another well known doctor in the midwest uses a protocol that is more involved, and the solution includes water with small amounts of sea salt, hydr. per., & lugols iodine. If you need help finding this info, for future reference, reply to this comment and I'll see how to share it without it getting flagged for removal. Best of luck in your continuing well-being. 👍☮

I'm well aware of the nebulized hydrogen peroxide solution from watching an Allison Morrow youtube video where she interviews a holistic doctor and author of 13 books named Brownstein who's practice was shut down because he was Successfully treating covid nineteen patients with nebulized hydrogen peroxide. Then the state of Washington, where she went to work after leaving CNN, told her to delete all of her covid videos or get fired. You won't find that video now.

@@browntrout611 Oh, yes, I'm a follower of Alison Morrow, also. And, just for accuracy's sake, Dr. Brownstein was threatened by the state licensing board, but he has not been shut down (at least not when I last checked). He had to pull down all that 'problematic but effective' info he had posted online, on his website. But, he still does a few interviews here and there. Thankfully, his practice is continuing to treat and save people, with fairly simple protocols. I'm not certain, but I think that Morrow & Bernstein video might still be on one of Morrow's other platforms. This technique is also recommended by Dr. Thomas Levy (another huge proponent of mega-dose Vit. C) and Dr. Frank Shallenberger.. and others. But, I'm glad you know about some of these augmentations to what you already did with Vit. C -- it's great that this alone was so successful for you! I hope others will be inspired by reading your success story.

@@livingitup9647 I used ascorbic acid powder for the covid but, due to Suzanne Humphries, I also take sodium ascorbate and, due to Dr. Levy, take one 1600mg liposomal vitamin c pill daily. Dr. Andrew Saul seems to only use the two powders so it's good to glean info from all three. Be sure to see Suzanne Humphries youtube videos. I've snuffed out a bad cold in a few hours a couple times by megadosing with the ascorbic acid routine also. I'm 72 and was diagnosed with cataracts six years ago. The optometrist thought I'd need an operation within 3 years. I happen to read Linus Pauling's books and see the Foodmatters video with Andrew Saul and others right afterwards. I started taking the vitamin c powder and niacin daily and there's no evidence of cataracts now. The optometrists are stumped, and will remain stumped.

@@browntrout611 I loved hearing all that! I do listen to, and read, all those people: Andrew Saul, Dr. Levy, Suzanne Humphries. But, I hadn't caught the Vit. C. link to cataracts remission. Nor had I heard Andrew Saul connect the niacin to cataracts, only to mood elevation and to cholesterol issues. Fascinating! I so appreciate you sharing that -- as well as hearing of your success with it -- and I'll do some investigating to gather more info. I'm in my late 60's, so every piece I can add to the puzzle of preserving health and longevity is valued and welcome. Thanks for sharing all that detail. May you continue to prove what all those experts have taught about preserving health! Blessings for a healthy, productive and optimistic year ahead 🙏🕊🌟 ☪

Surprise surprise i also suffer from regular, short-term migraines (8-12hr duration. followed by 2-3 days wiped out) I was awake at 2am yesterday with a typical smashing headache i am used to, yet aware enough to take two low-level pain killers & 2gm of Lypo style vit C, then went back to sleep. 6hrs later, i was approx 80% well again. I was back in my work by lunchtime and completed my day. This has never happened before. Beginners luck maybe, yet i am keen to rely more on Lypo style Vit C as my daily saver!

I had Covid, and it was already through my entire body before I knew what it was. So it was all about pneumonia, and anybody who saw me online for a conversation remarked how blue my lips were. And truly, there have been lots of times where I was just fighting panic all the time for a breath. I knew I had pneumonia, but it didn’t look like the symptoms that we were being shown in the media at the time. One side of my lower body swelled up from about the kidney down, and the kidney on that side was extremely painful and tender. The 2 feet had swollen to the point where there were no arches. Walking was all but impossible, and even the trip to the bathroom meant standing in the shower with the hot water running for an hour before I could actually attend to those functions. It just was impossible to sit. The intestines were ulcerated and bleeding, diarrhoea with severe, and so much more. None of these symptoms were spoken up in the media, and I certainly wasn’t going anywhere near a hospital, or I knew that I could bring another form of pneumonia that would possibly kill so many Covid patients were just hanging in there anyway.
I went back to my old naturopath, and he started me on the vitamin C, D3, Zn, and in the absence of the availability of supplemental vitamin K, lots of dark leafy greens with a little bit of oil or fat. And of course, once that was in my system, nebulizing with .1% hydrogen peroxide in normal saline.
    It made an instant difference.
I didn’t realize that I needed so much more vitamin C that I did take it that time, and it was somebody who had survived cancer who had told me what she had done with buoyancy. The dosage that she mentioned, it seems so high to me that I actually got back to her and asked her if that were a typo, and she confirmed that it was in grams, not milligrams and then I understood her perfectly.
So I switched to liposomal vitamin C, and that really did great things. And more of it.
There were other things that I took, like glutathione, and so much more. Proning made a big difference as well.
But these were the things that made the biggest difference.
When my 80 year old and ended up at the hospital, and by 4 o’clock in the morning where she’d be lying on the floor, and they sent her home to die, saying they didn’t have space for her, I waited until she arrived with my parents back home. Once they were calm, I walked mom through the process Off turning her over on her belly and something her family over her lungs, and immediately she began to breathe readily and easily. While my aunt rested, mom Administered the vitamins, and then made the saline and added the peroxide properly. She helped my aunt to set up for 20 minutes to inhale the most. I suggested that she rest, and when I called back in two hours to check up on them, mom said she didn’t know how my aunt was, because she couldn’t catch up with her. This sweet of soul was feeling so good that she was puttering about, gathering art supplies for a project.
She lived to see her specialist, and that’s what her goal was.
The vitamins make all the difference, and if a person is even thinking of nebulizing, the vitamins need to go first. Otherwise even though the microbes causing the illness can die, when the body doesn’t clean up afterwards, the lungs will fill up from the cytokines storms, and likely kill the person who actually managed to defeat the sickening microorganism.

@@taragillette2189 : Yes. A little later on I did start taking n-AC. it just seemed like there was so much to try to keep up with, that I didn’t try for propolis.
My home used to be in Germany, where medical schools train physicians in more than just allopathic therapies.
My physician would prescribe essential oils along with antibiotics, For respiratory infections.
It wasn’t anything i’d even heard of from an MD Back in North America. But it worked.
So when I got home, It only made sense to take a course in Essential oils for medical use. They made a huge difference as well.
A respiratory specialist online suggested an herbal tea, and it also made a huge difference: At this point, I was throwing everything at it that I could find. It started off pretty standard: Boiling water poured over lemon zest, coriander, cumin, a few peppercorns, sliced garlic cloves, and juniper berries; after that steeped for some time, I added in lemon juice, and once it had cooled down enough, I added honey, But it had to be cool enough so as not to pasteurize the honey.
Once I got well enough to go for a little walk, Something happened for the first time. I had said a prayer, and asked for a craving for whatever would improve my health. While walking past my neighbours’ pine trees, for the first time in my life, I craved Pineneedle tea; The wind had blown the tips from the higher boughs and they went into the recipe as well. Not with boiling water, but near boiling water (nobody wants to drink turpentine lol).
it was a serious game changer, The craving continued as long as The sickness was there, and for quite some time after.
So that continuing craving, really confirms what you were saying about continuing with treatments until the bug goes well and truly gone.
at one point, in the course of a walk, I found a patch of goldenrod. A tea made from the leaves made a big difference as well. Really broke up the congestion rapidly.
There were homeopathic remedies as well. I forget what they were off hand, but if Anybody happens to ask me for the specifics, I’ll take the time to go look them up. After all, nobody asks about that information unless they need it. and if there was one thing that we learned during the pandemic, it was that sometimes Help is most definitely not on the way, at least the Standard medical help. And the medical people we’ve relied on for all of our lives, are now overworked since so many of them were let go from their jobs, and never hired back even though the pandemic is over.

Dr Levy talks about liposomal vitamin c because the liposomal process protects the vitamin c which allows it to pass into the cell without being destroyed by things like stomach acids. I don't think he's against natural vitamin c, he just says use liposomal vitamin c when you are super sick like pneumonia. The liposomal process is the "over-the-counter" equivalence of having vitamin c injected intravenously. He has other videos that talk about how liposomal vitamin c has cured people on deaths door because it works super fast.

@mikepakulski Thanks for asking, but I don't take vitamin E. It's important. No doubt, I just haven't researched it. My main concern is heart disease, which is reversing. I did read deficiency for E is rare. IMO, I would be on high dose vitamin C because it seems to have a broader spectrum of benefits and especially if you have signs of heart disease with a CAC score. Ski n the largest organ of the body. If it is really good, then under the skin is likely good, too. Mine is the best it's been in 50 years.

    • @SET12DSP
      @SET12DSP 11 месяцев назад

Well, I have two of Levy's books one is "Curing the Incurable." If you're going to knock out herpes personally, you need a lot more vitamin C. Bioflavonoids allow for about 30% more absorption. They are expensive. I take 30 grams of Vitamin C ascorbic acid powder per day in divided doses 5 grams morning, noon, afternoon, and 15 grams early evening because of reduced physical activity, which makes the dose well tolerated.
It has really kicked butt on my skin issues, all of which are gone, including Rosacha.
Besides that, using the Linus Pauling Heart Protocol is reversing my heart disease. So far, by 30%, verified by CAC. I'm very thankful for Levy's suggestions 🙏

@mikepakulski Mike just wrote a lengthy response, and it just disappeared. I occasionally get censored. Or my posts just up and dissappear.
So try magnesium glycinate 800mg per day as I'm on.
This works synergistically with vitamin C.
Next, make sure you're on D3. You might want to have your blood level tested. I'm at 60ng/dl 30 is minimum.
      I'm on K2-MK7 2400mcg with 5000i.u of D3 summer and 10,000i.u winter.
      K2-MK7 is not toxic.
Recommended dosing by Dr. Kate Rheaume-Bleue, author of "K2 and the Calcium Paradox," currently is 100mcg of K2-MK7 per 1000i.u of D3. Most people, according to her, do not take enough. My D3 level is 60ng /dl.
I like to drink my C 20-30 minutes before meals. I sometimes have it afterward with the rest of my supplements.
I'm not a water per person, per say as Dr. Eric Berg feels people drink too much and dilute their electrolytes.
Spread your C into 3-4 doses per day.
I wonder if you're having oxalate issues. I also use food grade citric acid. Even more powerful than C for desolving calcium. It's different than C but with some overlap.your kidneys well like it. It's very protective in not allowing kidney stones to form. I take 3 grams with my 5 gram dose of C. On the weekend, I just use C.
Hope this helps stay in touch!

Oxalates which are used to form stones according to Dr Thomas Levy have many different sources for instance like coffee which has about 4 times that of leafy greens. In one of his books he points out that Harvard did 2 large studies and came up with if anything C was protective against stones.
I am on 18 grams of C a day in divided doses. Along with K2-MK7, D3 and Vitamin A and of course the rest of Pauling's Protocol.

Ester C is just an expensive form of calcium ascorbate, the only form of vitamin C NOT recommended because it adds to the calcium load in the body.

@@lizearlewellbeing thanks for responding. Definitely not interested in speaking to a doctor -- that's why Levy is so great - he's a physician who actually gets it. Most do not. In the alternative camp they focus on not taking C with or near food as it loads iron. But so many have stopped C because of that and there is so much more to the story. Great program - very glad I heard this.

Why are all seriously sick people entering the British NHS Hospital, not given intravenous Vitamine C as a starter? Why do the British NHS Hospitals give non-nutritoious foodstuffs cooked in large vats needing terrific heat, frozen, placed in plastic plates, and sent out to Hospitals that further kill the food by reheating it in Microwave ovens? This weakens the patient like feeding them scurvy! Are they afraid of losing a paying patient? Why do we call NHS doctors complete health doctors when they have never been taught about nutrition! Name their limited Doctorship, please! cancertommy
