My old Bantam had cork inserts in the clutch plate. I hit some gravel and came off my Bantam. When I picked the bike up the engine was still running but the clutch wouldn't work so I had to push it home. Next day I examined the clutch and all the cork inserts had fallen out of the clutch plates. You could buy the cork inserts at the dealers but once fitted they had to be ground down to the correct thickness. I loved my Bantam as it was my first bike at 16. Happy days!
At 3.53 you put what you call a blank on the floor and nothing is mentioned about it! Whats the crack with that as I have that blank sat between the last clutch and end plate when I took apart my clutch today
Thanks mate. Looks like you have the passion for old machines too. Be a new video out soon. A spoof renovation show. Im branching out in to comedy ..ha..
Brilliant video. You make it so clear. Can't wait to start on mine. Thanks
