1. Lay down, your sweet and weary head Night is falling, you have come to journey's end Sleep now. Dream of the ones who came before The are calling from across a distant shore Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face? Soon you will see all of your fears will pass away Safe in my arms, you're only sleeping Reff What can you see? On the Horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises. The ships have come to carry you home And all will turn to silver glass A light on the water All souls pass Grey ships pass into the west 2. Hope fades, into the word of night Through shadows falling Out of memory and time Don't say, we have come now to the end White shores are calling You and i will meet again And you'll be here in my arms Just sleeping

I'm sorry but I don't like this version. no doubt, he has a great voice. but, to me, this song has to be performed by a person with much more life-experience, to give it that sense of true, pain and hope that are lacking in this version.
This song always makes me cry because it's so hard to miss someone that you've love and it's hard to letting go! 😢
Wow, what a voice, and what a sensitive, poetic interpretation! Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful rendition of this gorgeous song! He has such a fantastic voice and range. I cried listening to this !
This is just breathtakingly beautiful.
This young man has such a beautiful voice.
Love his voice. Had the pleasure of seeing him perform live, he's quite the showman as well.
I played this recording at my husband's funeral, it was so fitting
I can imagine it must have been of great comfort to you. Thanks for posting your comment, and my deepest condolences in the loss of your husband.
I met this man on a cruise a few days ago and he is such an amazing person I cannot thank him enough for such a wonderful time
I agree: Will is amazing!
By far the best version out there. No screaming, but pure beautiful tenor voice, perfectly pitched.
Agreed.
Dont be an idiot. There is no screaming in original

The way it should be sung
Oh my gosh..his voice is like a velvety warm chocolate sauce being gently poured over my wobbly bits :)
Lay Down, your sweet and weary head
Night is falling, You have come to journey's end
Sleep now and dream of the one's who came before
They are calling, from across the distant shore
Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see, all of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms
Your only sleeping
What can you see, on the horizon
Why do the white gulls call
Across the sea, a pale moon rises
The ships have come to carry you home
Hope fades, into the world of night
Through shadows falling, out of memory & time
Don't say, we have come now to the end

And you will be here in my arms, just sleeping
What can you see, on the horizon
Why do the white gulls call
Across the sea, a pale moon rises
The ships have come to carry you home
And all will turn, to seal the glass
A light on the water
Grey ships past
Into the west
Maybe I won't attempt this 🤔😊🤗❤️
One word: Maglor.
It's "Into the West" from The Lord of The Rings. I prefer the original sung by Annie Lennox, but your cover is good!
he came to my school
Good voice but the way you delivered the song was a bit different. Sounds good though.
This is a terrific version of this song. I just want to hear him sing something like Oh Danny Boy.
Good voice, bad quality recording.
Totally agree with you.
no feeling
Where is the rhythym?

This is a good cover and Will has an amazing voice. However the Annie Lennox original is just in a league of its own.
