I used to like Nick Dipaolo and thought his standup was good, but over the past two years he’s gotten so into Trump and being super right wing that its all he talks about now its a bummer. Last time i heard him was when he called into Jim and Sam’s show a month after the 2020 election and he was just ranting about how the election was stolen from Trump and Jim was asking him for evidence and Nick couldn’t give any obviously, but he just sounded like a nutjob.

As someone who watched every ep of Tough Crowd as they aired, Dipaulo has always sucked

Snowflake? That is such a nonsensical statement. Snowflakes try to get someone canceled they disagree with. Nick would never do that. He would debate that person. Sure, he might get angry, but he truly believes in free speech for everybody, including his political opponents. An actual snowflake does not believe in that.
Shouting down others and puffing out his flabby old used car salesman chest comes from the same snowflake impulse of trying to silence people with different ideas. The only difference is "cancel culture" has a social mechanism to achieve it while this dumb guinea tries to do it himself.

@@acetate909 Nick earned his place at the table in the comedy cellar alongside Quinn, Norton, O'neal, Giraldo, Attell, Vos, Burr, Robinson, Hart and many other great comedians. Ari and Mark are good comedians but they never had to go through the gauntlet of trashing and hack court. These men were a different breed of comedian and deserve respect. You trash a comedian to his face, not on stage where he can't fire back. Normand knew he crossed the line.
Extreme politicking is weird, either way, mang. Maybe he repents, becomes a Hairy Krishna or something.
