- Hi Members! This is an important video if you are new to wire weaving, so please take the time to watch this one for your comfort and well-being while we learn to do these biggie weaves! Much love, more is coming about materials and weaves.
Thank you kindly for your invaluable wisdom and divine caring heart. Much love from Australia 🥰
Wow, thank you, Australia!! I appreciate your sweet and kind comment! 🙏❤️🙏❤️
Thank you very much for sharing your personal process and all your caring tips. I'm starting out with weaving and will keep these tips in mind. Much love from South Africa 🌻💛🤗
Thank you so much for this beautiful comment! Much love back to you! From Loveland, Colorado! :D
Very helpful information as always!
Thank you!
Thanks! Great advice, Teacher!
You make me smile :D Thanks, Ann!
Very helpful. Thanks!
You're welcome! Thank you too, Barbie!
Thanks! When I first started wire wrapping I got cramps on my hands. After I learn to "put the piece away" and correct myself to better posture, the cramps stopped.
Great advice!
Love always!
Thanks, Rachel! Yes, I feel it's an important part of the art.
I work on different projects at once, so I can alternate between them. Obviously, they are different types of weaving, etc. to give my hands a break. This also helps keep me from getting bored or frustrated.
Excellent tips! Great way to keep creative as well as healthy body. Bravo! :D
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Always welcome! Thank you for watching!
I don't think I've ever of all the videos I've watched had an artist teach about the self care etc. My biggest problem is tension on the weave wire itself , I either have too much tension or not enough seriously struggling on how much tension 🤦♀️. Thank you SO MUCH for your videos !!!
Thank you, Cyndi! It's important and it's not covered by many if any, so I thought it would be a good reminder to us all and a heads up to new weavers of what this beautiful technique can do to your hands. The tension should be about as tight as you might hold onto string floss with (like for flossing teeth)... about as tight as that. I hope that helps!
@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Thank so much! I will definitely try that ❤️
Thank you so much. You're so nice😊💗
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this information. I’m in my mid 50s and just starting down the wire art path.
I’m hoping to eventually incorporate it into a business so that I can be more self sufficient instead of being on SSI.
Thank you, Katrin, this is what I hope for my viewers too, that this beautiful artform brings extra comfort into your life, be it in mindset or in business and extra income. I wish all the success for you and yes, take care of hands and body first, then all the art flows with enjoyment. Much love!
Awesome video! Can't thank you .
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you, Chris!
Thanks for the tape tip! I've been using bandaids, which can be pricey! I don't get blisters so much as little skin splits from my skin being so dry. Plus, I've grown some pretty unsightly calluses!
Right! I gave up bandaids a long time ago and went to this finger tape, it also lasts quite a bit longer.
I ordered some immediately after watching your video! Supposed to be delivered tomorrow and my fingers are so looking forward to it!!
Goodmorning 🎉
The fatigue is a real thing! Thank-you for sharing your experience ❣️
Thank you too, Theresa!
Definitely need to do some self care! Great tips to keep in mind. 💜
It's the most important part of art.
Thank you great as always, I myself been having some issues where I have to remember Self-care cuz I try to be everywhere my Adult Kids want me to be . They not mindful of my health n mental status, I'm sry Thank you letting me vent a bit. Much love n 🫂
I can understand that one, Nancy, I have a lot that goes on here too with Jim. Hang in there, we always find the time for ourselves and our wire wrap! ;)
Thank you for the wisdom and hints!
OMG thank you so much for this. I've wondered how to do a lot of what you showed. Again, thank you. Are you planning on getting you another boy or girl? I know some people want to wait and others go ahead because the other dog helps them with the grieving process. Either route you go I wish you the best. I hope also that your husband is doing well. You're forever in my prayers.
Thank you for this beautiful comment, Marti! We are thinking to get a 2 or a 3 year old for Jojo (she's been a bit down since Jack left us)... we will probably wait until the end of summer just to give us some time since Jim is not completely well yet. I appreciate you so much and all your prayers. Much love!
Hi, Susan! Could you tell me what size bobbins you're using? Should our bobbin size depend on our wire gauge? I wanted to purchase these online, so I was trying to get as much info as I could. I love these videos and being able to see what supplies/brands you use. Thanks so much! 🥰
Hi Jane, I don't know what size they are... I'm new to them but I only use them for the 28g or 30g weaving wires. They measure 2 inches round... here is one that is 2.5 inches from firemountaingems.com but I'm sure they are online in all sorts of places including the amazong. firemountaingems.com/search?searchtype=Shop&keywords=wire+bobbin I hope that helps!
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Perfect! Thank you for taking the time. I hope you have a blessed week 🙂
