Bart Arens (AVRO/TROS) praat op NPO Radio 2 over een synthesizer uit de jaaren ´80, gehoord uit Californie, prachtig. Veel geleerd. Born in the 1960´s, as a German in Lower Saxony I grew up with FM Radio NDR 2, our local radio station, with WDR 2 from North Rhine Westphalia and from a distance Hilversum 3, today radio 3. Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!
Yamaha DX 7 is iconic, the electric piano in, it has a special sound i immediatly recognize when it comes to keys.... same goes with f.i. a Fender Rhodes or a Wurlitzer EPiano....
What is fun is that on the radio, before his show starts, he has this game where he plays the song he will start with on the piano on the last 10 minutes of the show before his and you can send in your guests to the studio. It's so much fun.
There he is again! Bart, the Music Wizard, and his lecture on pop music. This man needs a class room 🤓

Being a producer myself, I can tell you the DX7 was/is a b*tch to program.
Some presets are indeed fantastic though....
