Like literally no head voice no matter how hard i try and i dont want to fry a 3rd octave clean note

One of the many things I love about Oingo Boingo is Danny tends to stick to a range that I can, mostly, sing along to without straining. "No One Lives Forever" is mostly about being able to sing... kinda fast I guess? There's no real high notes, the lows aren't too deep, it's just darn fun to sing along to =)
You should do a set of all the "event singalong" songs that people like (bus trip rides, karaoke, etc). Things like Come on Eileen, Don't Stop Believing, and other cheesy songs everyone attempts to sing together.
Always loved singing 'the needle and the spoon' lynyrd skynyrd and 'the rocker' by thin lizzy, both easy enough to sing but harder to get the coolness factor

Really?? For me it's the opposite. I tend to listen to things like that when it gets really bad... it's the anti suicide music for me. I'm not the type to actually attempt suicide, but I have lived with that level of depression for a long time (being pissed when I wake up _that_ I woke up, for instance). The "darker" music gets it out and points out that there is still reason to live... and so I go on. Music has saved me so much...pain. the catharsis of letting it out, I think is how it works with me. Hoping no one else feels like this - may everyone have plenty to feel good about in their days. :)
Pretty much anything by Katatonia starting 2006. Jonas Renkse has a very soft and calming voice and makes it work regardless of the limited range and damage it had taken in the 90-s. The song My Twin is a good example, or Lacquer from their latest album.
My 2 favourite vocalists alongside M.Shadows. I can't sing too well, but I love singing to their songs (especially to A Little Piece of Heaven and So Cold)
I too find many of Chester's songs not that hard, but he can go really high up, like in Breaking The Habit, The Catalyst, Final Maskerade, or of course his absolute highlights: She Couldn't, Pictureboard and the Rolling In The Deep cover! Conversely, when I sang Leave Out All The Rest once, I was surprised how low it goes in the verses. Chester had a remarkable range, for sure!
It kinda depends. If you have a lower voice (like me, for example) then Linkin Park's songs are quite difficult. Especially those that go higher than G4 like Given Up, Burn It Down, Waiting For The End, The Messenger, Lying To You, Lies Greed Misery or The Little Things Give You Away. Even without distortion those are pretty hard. There are songs though that are fairly easy to sing like Shadow Of The Day, Not Alone, Crawling, Heavy, Nobody Can Save Me or Sharp Edges.
Extatum et oratum or sanctified by dynamite by powerwulf, Cirice by Ghost, The devil's breading crown by Volbeat, And finally, what a wonderful world by Alex Louise Armstrong. I've always been good at these.
My favorite “easy” song to sing is The Man Who Sold The World. But ngl i do a blend between the bowie and nirvana versions because i prefer the key of the original but like the timing of nirvanas

I'm not the type to actually attempt suicide, but I have lived with that level of depression for a long time (being pissed when I wake up _that_ I woke up, for instance). The "darker" music gets it out and points out that there is still reason to live... and so I go on.
Music has saved me so much...pain. the catharsis of letting it out, I think is how it works with me.

Pretty much anything by Katatonia starting 2006. Jonas Renkse has a very soft and calming voice and makes it work regardless of the limited range and damage it had taken in the 90-s. The song My Twin is a good example, or Lacquer from their latest album.
Easiest song for me is “I Fell” by Wicca Phase Springs Eternal. Just sits right in my easy range and 75% of the song is very chill

Honestly I find a lot of Chester Bennington's stuff is easy for me to at least feel good while I sing along. Same goes for stuff by Benjamin Burnley.
My 2 favourite vocalists alongside M.Shadows. I can't sing too well, but I love singing to their songs (especially to A Little Piece of Heaven and So Cold)
Am guessing Chester's stuff is just fine when you dont add distortion. Also you must have slightly higher natural range or trained a bit.
I too find many of Chester's songs not that hard, but he can go really high up, like in Breaking The Habit, The Catalyst, Final Maskerade, or of course his absolute highlights: She Couldn't, Pictureboard and the Rolling In The Deep cover!
Conversely, when I sang Leave Out All The Rest once, I was surprised how low it goes in the verses. Chester had a remarkable range, for sure!
It kinda depends. If you have a lower voice (like me, for example) then Linkin Park's songs are quite difficult. Especially those that go higher than G4 like Given Up, Burn It Down, Waiting For The End, The Messenger, Lying To You, Lies Greed Misery or The Little Things Give You Away. Even without distortion those are pretty hard. There are songs though that are fairly easy to sing like Shadow Of The Day, Not Alone, Crawling, Heavy, Nobody Can Save Me or Sharp Edges.
