Yard Act - I Came from a Big Village | Other Voices Cardigan Festival (2023)

James Smith, frontman of Mercury Prize-nominated Leeds group Yard Act, performs a spoken word poem inspired by both his upbringing in Warrington and the beautiful West Wales town of Cardigan. The piece was filmed back in October 2023 at the fourth edition of Other Voices Cardigan Festival, which saw James and his bandmates visit the legendary Hiut Denim Factory, Tipi Hut, Prendre Cafe Chip Shop and more local hotspots as well as playing an iconic headline set in St Mary's Church 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 The new album from Yard Act, 'Where's My Utopia?', is out now.
