THAT guitar is the one that Rocksmith originally chose to represent their game before they changed last minute to Epiphone. It is a really solid guitar that sounds great and is of really good quality iside and out. Although it sounded fine as is; I installed some Dimarzio pick ups ( I think they are paf pro 151, black color humbucker) for $40 used from Music Go Round and it sounds AMAZING! Like a real expensive guitar. Peavey is an electronics company and their wiring inside looked of quality materials and solders( even though its made in china). Wires were thick and it has the tuner/headphone jack to play anywhere and the whole guitar is good and tuff for traveling. It really is the most underrated guitar on the market price wise. I have the same silver metallic color model. It has a super slippery fast neck that has easily accesible frets because of the slightly smaller neck radius. It used to be listed at $30 used stock, but as the news has slowly gotten out, its now $50 lol. This guitar is waaay better than $100 guitars and even higher because of the durability. THIS is a guitar noone will steal either. Ridiculous value. Also it stays in tune superbly. In fact I think I even put the next size 11's on it. Finally good to see this guitar get its due credit for being what it is. get one. There cant be many available. Try to get a new one in the set. It came with a really cute better quality box set amp than most companies. This guitar was way ahead of its time. It is even a string through body. Bolt on maple neck with basswood body is best for sound quality and resonance. Doesnt matter that basswood is cheap. Its simply the best wood combo for great sound (Maple neck and basswood body that is). Just make sure all screws and screws on tuners and bolt on neck are all tight. Some were loose out of box. You can gig with this guitar. I bought mine in a boxed set in 2011 at Best Buy for like $79-89 on sale!! It came with a cool quality little Peavey amp. With the used PU i put in there this guitar rivals new $500 guitars and is as good or better than $250 used pawn shop guitars. Dont you dare buy any other $100 guitar from a pawnsop they are crap. But if you buy this for $50. YOU GOT A STEAL. I also put chome knobs on mine. Looks like a top of the line Squire. Top of the line I said.
I found a 2003 Mexican stratocaster in wine red for 200$ on letgo. Amazing deal for a fender. Lots of upgrades on it too! It broke the bank but couldn’t pass...

Unfortunately, there are some areas(like mine!) where used guitars are worth next to nothing. The only way a person could sell a used guitar in my area for 100 dollars is if it were a name brand and looked and played like new. Even then, you'd have to wait a very long time to find a buyer. Just bought a like new peavey rockmaster yesterday for 35 bucks, the guy had it advertised for 50 but gave up all hope of ever selling it for that amount. It's really sad that people will gladly pay 800 bucks for a stupid cellphone these days, but would never even consider paying 50 for a super nice electric guitar. This ridiculousness is great for guitar buyers like us, but not so great if you ever need to sell one. Guitar amps and accessories are a complete waste of time to try to sell in my area. 15 to 20 bucks is about all anybody around here is willing to pay for a nice practice amp, and would take a month or so to even sell it for that much...Really Sad!

Yeah I wanna clean off I bought this guitar $50 but it had IA case to came with it the kid gave it was in a bed little case it was made by Dicky's it was a good travel bag condition of the guitar had some gouge marks in the back And the bed chip on the bottom front edge. Looking at this guitar the bridge 8 the greatest in the world but it really isn't the worst Machine Head's tuners guitar seems to hold the tune pretty good it's light neck is very comfortable need to be intonated strings are a bit high but even with them being really way too high guitar actually still plays very well. I know a lot of people would call it a piece of ship it's made in China this that and the other but I mean it's not a top quality Gibson it's not a top quality Fender or Jackson or humor or PRS or any notable brand not that TV is a bed brand because PB happens to have some very good guitar as the make good top quality guitars as well Which is unknown to many people PV has always made very good guitars Fact is they don't really make garbage and whenever they make something that sucks it sucks but if this is supposed to represent white sox well this little beginner guitar as I came to realize it was and found out it was is just not really Not a piece of shit. Yeah it's mass produced its a Chinese guitar but the fretwork happens to be pretty good There is no fret sprout And right now until it's properly intonated I'm gonna feel the frets old but more so on the sides then you normally would but even then I played guitar as that were for warson actually had next sprout were brand new and more Chinese made. Fact this the it might be a cheaply made guitar a but it's not a piece of garbage It's not a work of craftsmanship that's for sure but for $50 Can you complain Not sure what it went for brand new but even then you know it's a business. If I found another one of these for $50 I would buy it just to have it
