I love seeing your work it is like speed reading. I have to watch close, or you will finish a beautiful project before I catch up viewing your work. Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects.❤
You get so many stitches done every day!! I am so slow in comparison!😂 It is fun to see your progress. I’d love to see how you have your floss set up. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely. I generally stitch on 25ct in “loose” 10 stitch rows as well, but with much more parking. I may have to try stitching on a slightly bigger fabric and working in the threads more on my next project to see if I can speed things up a bit. What kind of 22ct do you use - hardanger, ariosa? And where do you buy it, please?
@@emveecee I use hardanger as I like the structure of the squares being similar to Aida. I am in Australia and have bought from a number of suppliers, most sell it. It’s made by Zweigart and called Sulta.
@@maxcolourstitcher Thanks, Anne. It’s a shame that (all?) counts of aida and many of the even-weaves are available pre-gridded, but I’ve been unable to find any 22ct fabrics pre-gridded. I re-watched part of this but don’t think you mentioned- do you use CXC floss for better coverage on the hardanger? I’m considering trying it out but one flosstuber (Siske Stitches, I think) was unhappy with the colour matching to DMC floss for lighter colours. If you use CXC, have you had any dissatisfaction in that respect??
@ there are no pre gridded 22 count so I grid myself using a chalk pencil. It wipes off easily so I don’t have to worry about it not coming out. I keep forgetting to mention in my videos that I use DMC only. I have tried CXC but didn’t like how fluffy it was. I prefer the crispness of cotton. I do also worry about the colour matching since there seems to be so many different varieties of CXC, it doesn’t all come out of the same factory.

Happy New Year.🎉
Wow Ann you got loads of stitches done. Your pieces are all pretty.
Your projects are coming along.
Having a go at your method,Anne.
I’m really tempted to try the way you stitch. I do royal rows and I have so many parked threads. This seems easier to handle
@@Coffee_rex I tried royal rows but got column lines

@@lisadolson6598 I have all my floss on Pip & Chip floss drops hanging from a clothes hanger. I have included a picture in my second video.
