OK I must tell you I have watched a bazillion valentine day crafts and goodies videos! Yours is the best thing I’ve ever seen❤️ Such clever ideas and so easy to make💗TFS!
Oh my gosh my daughter had a terrible time with the candy melts when she was making oreo balls. She gave up on them even after using shortening. I am going to tell her about the crystals. Great video!
This video is so inspirational! Now I want to make all the treats. Great tutorial and you always explain everything so well. My fave was the fruit hearts and the marble bark! Great video and thanks for sharing!
Rosemary these are delightful & fun! I am kinda hungry now! What great ideas! And some new ideas and things to use. I appreciate your time and effort to give us new options for our treats! Thank you you make my heart go Pop, POP, POP!
I make candy all the time. Another idea is to use a squeeze bottle. Dollar Tree doesn't always have the clear plastic ones, but they usually have the mustard and ketchup ones. Btw, the chocolate covered Oreos have been around for a few years, I buy them quite often. They used to have the mint Oreos covered in chocolate. They discontinued them, but recently brought them back in smaller packaging.
These would be perfect for my kids and grandkids. Also to have them for giving out to class mates. I’m going to try all of them. I think I’m going to have to use dark chocolate for several of them.
I add some vegetable oil to my chocolate to help thin it out. Works every time, and it makes the chocolate look nice and shiny when it hardens. You can use a piping bag or even a Ziploc bag with a teeny tiny piece of one corner taken off to drizzle your chocolate. So much easier and nicer than the spoon method (which never works for me). Thanks for sharing these awesome tips...fudge covered Oreos...who knew??
Absolutely love all the ideas. I enjoy making Love Treats for my kiddos. Love your tag ideas. Do have a link you could share with us as a download to the tags you use? TFS 💖
Great ideas, as usually, thanks!! Just want to tell this: you've closed the pillow little boxes by the wrong way. They have a semi circle hole in one wing or eyelash and that's the side Wich has to be on top when you close it. So, the person can open the gift easily. That's all. Greetings from Mexico City!
Glad to see someone besides me who likes to make baking easy and fun lol 😆 also do you think that store bought cakepops can be done the same way? Wanting to decorate the pops but not have to go through the whole process 🤔
Rosemary I've never heard of the fudge oreo covered before or seen them so , I had to pause the video and Google it. Apparently the Walmart in my area sells them . I have to go and see it for myself 😊 thank you for all this wonderful and time saving ideas .
I live in Kentucky, and we have had (off and on) fudge and white chocolate covered Oreos for more than 25 years. I still have an Oreo Christmas tin that came filled with the white chocolate Oreos from the 1990s. These are awesome ideas for treats. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Mary Guy not me I didn’t even decorate for Christmas 🎄 because I live in a efficient apartment and go to my nieces apartment but if I did decorate it would be for Christmas
It would be really nice to see ideas for a sugar free treat basket. My husband is a diabetic, but he still likes the occasional sweet treat (sugar free of course). I would love to put a sugar free basket together, but I'm not sure what $ Tree has in this category. Thanks. All of your baskets are beautiful!
Amazing ideas for easy and budget friendly little gifts for coworkers and classmates. Planning on making several, leaning towards the Oreos for coworkers and marshmallow cupcakes for my kids classmates. LOVE your videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I just love your videos! You always have such cute and clever ideas. Thank you for showing us numerous, budget-friendly, ways to create something beautiful to gift or for parties. Blessings to you...you're the best! 😍😘❤❤❤❤
If you have a stove, fill a pot about a 1/3 up with water, and then place a heat safe bowl over the top so that no steam leaks out and melt the chocolate in the bowl. It's called the double boiler method
I use my stove for my white chocolate covered peppermint pretzels 🥨 How I do this is pour my white chocolate pieces in a medium nonstick pot as well as a small dollop of crisco shortening like she mentioned in her video to keep it thin and smooth and my stovetop eye on low. You have to keep the chocolate stirred often with crisco and always on low if it gets too warm it will thicken up if this happens I turn off the stovetop for a minute and add crisco and stir. I dump my small pretzels in the chocolate and gently stir till covered good and then I use my spaghetti spoon ( a large fork may work too) to pull them out a couple at a time and lay on wax paper. Then sprinkle with crushed candy cane candy. They are a hit with everyone I’ve ever mad them for! Hope this helps! :)
Hello gals! Thanks for the replys! I am trying so hard to be more responsive but that darn LOY (Life outside of RUclips) stuff keeps getting in the way!! 😊😊Last Sunday was supposed to be an all day comment reply day but the disaster de jour had other plans and here I am, almost a whole week later, trying to put a dent in! Thanks again! 😊💗😘
Hi Rosemary I love all of your ideas but you need to know another trick, just deep the stick in chocolate and will glue better to your lollypop 😍😍😍 sorry for my English I hope you got the idea😄💕
In the late 90's our neighbor would bring us a plate of chocolate covered oreos with small candies. She said they only came out around Christmas time. That was back then.
I just heard you mention shortening/crystals to thin your chocolates...I was just gonna mention it...lol because thinning it out will stop that glooping. 😊 Btw...Loving these ideas!!! 😎❤❤
Your videos are amazing, I have been so inspired. I decorated my house yesterday for Valentine's Day for $20 in DT items and it looks fantastic. thank you for your time and effort.

I only use Ghirardelli chocolate chips or wafers, they taste so much better. Big lots stores have them for cheaper price, just an FYI.
Love Big Lots will be looking for them!!

Where did you get the tags from?
Had chocolate covered Oreos for 15+ years..in our stores in Oklahoma...
In the late 90's our neighbor would bring us a plate of chocolate covered oreos with small candies. She said they only came out around Christmas time. That was back then.
