"Flute" is a broad term but if you mean a proper horizontal aerophone flute, as in you can play one of those, then you should be able to play fipple flutes. If you can play a recorder then you should be able to play a penny whistle. Don't get me wrong, a master flutist isn't automatically going to be an advanced penny whistle player, but they're all woodwinds and the penny whistle is one of the most simple designs of them all. That said, if you can play woodwinds then you can figure this one out on your preferred instrument. In the beginning, you can see the notes he plays. Watch over and over, write them down, practice tempo, and experiment. Or go the easy way and get the tabs online, there are actually readily available fingering charts for this song and I bet a simple search will turn up numerous tips & tutorials. Just gotta try...
