- Will Florida State defeat SMU? That would mean containing the elusive Kevin Jennings, the Mustangs’ quarterback. The Noles must not only sack Jennings, but they must keep him in the pocket and not allow him extra time to survey the field and complete passes.
Offensively, it’s time. FSU must hit big passing plays in the middle of the field and not just dink and dunk with screen passes. From the first quarter until the conclusion of the game, DJ Uiagalelei must attack the middle of the field. If he’s avoiding that area early in the game, it’s a bad sign that FSU’s coaches do not trust him and/or he’s not even confident in himself.

Why don't we have superior players over some of these lesser teams? I remember when we dominated other teams strictly on talent alone ..... we rolled over them early and often by 3rd quarter game over. Offense explosive and defense dominated the opposition. Glory days
Good old days last season. True FSU shouldn't have to worry about SMU which is not a talented team. But FSU has to worry about everyone this season unfortunately

I think we lose. Ur score prediction is about what i predict except im more SMU 24 FSU 14 bcuz i just do not have faith in DJU nor the playcalling from the coaches ATALL to extend plays. His feet are always in wet cement.. he WONT read defenses.. no escapability.. and Norvell is ok with it. Also, i take norvell at his word. Im finally starting to realize wht he is saying. He says DJU gives us the best chance to win right now. Which means: he MISSED on getting a qb that can come in and at least get u some big plays and wins like EVERY OTHER YOUNG QB that u see on EVERY OTHER team in america. DJU aint it.. B Glenn aint it.. L Kromenhawk is too young so its too early for him.. and the other guy is a walk on and all that leaves us with NOBODY. He bought a lemon this year!
