Can't wait to try this today.. Love how you explain the release of flavors to build that flavor profile 🎉
much luv for the understanding and support
@@caribbeanpot .. I had a food orgasm with this dish.. that flavor profile.. omg.. the roasting of the geera seeds in the beginning is key.. what a game changer ..
Gotta stop watching when I'm hungry. Def looks incredible! Yes, I would like video for the pre-made base. ❤
my bad
@@caribbeanpot thank you for all you do for us. Most of my family have passed on. I appreciate the memories your cooking brings.

I always been nice in the kitchen, but this right here......watchin this right here, just made me want to start focusing more on Caribbean food. I have stray away a bit since I have such a wide range. Thanks brother, Shalom
yes PLEASE do a curry base recipe! that way we can freeze it and take it out as we need . like we do for the green seasoning!
Happy Sunday Chris! As winter makes its last stand I’m glad this recipe made a reappearance.
yea, needed a reboot
Chris looking good. I would love to see beef stew. Thumbs up to you Chris God blessed you and family
Definitely gonna make some curry beef this Sunday. I love curried goat but I don’t buy it anymore because of too much fat and too many bones for my money. This is a good alternative. Thanks Chris for these great ideas 😊❤
This looks absolutely delicious 😋😋😋. I've never had curry beef before, chicken and mutton yes but never beef. Can't wait to try this 😊😊. Yes I would love to see the video of the curry base please and thanks 😊👍🏾
As usual, everything looks delicious.
thanks kindly
If you can't find achar masala, use dried mango powder (amchur), red chilli powder and garam masala. It gives a similar flavour and IMHO is even better than store bought achar masala. Pro tip: always buy whole spices and dry roast and grind them - you won't use as much as powdered spices and the flavour is way better!
Btw, this recipe was bomb! One of the best Caribbean curries I've made! Also, use fresh curry leaves if you can.
Garam Masala has a really nice flavor. Just don't go to heavy with it.
I make this all the time based on the tropical recipe in the site...beef iS now seasoning over night ❤
Great meal and technique brother you stepped my curry game up big time
I’m a white nan and been cooking Caribbean and African food all my adult life. My gfs were all black girls. Loved it man. The family loved it
yes Chris do a video like that brother! I would love a curry paste I can take out of the fridge and just get cooking
soon
Hi Chris Happy Sunday to you and your family enjoy your day bye.
Happy Sunday Sandra
Made this incredibly delicious recipe yesterday evening. Hands down the best Trini beef curry I’ve tasted. Trying to send you an email on your website Chris but Captcha is giving me an error, it keeps resetting and timing out.
Great idea for currry base! Keep up the great work
much luv for the kind support
Ooo can’t wait to try this! You taught me curry chicken, now I’m gonna hit them with the curry beef!
you'll luv this one
Rice again coming over looks sooo good
nice
Yes Chris waiting for your paste to drop👌🏽🥳
BIM in the house?
That Curry base is the thing I need! Let us know when you drop it.
drop I shall
Yummmm. I always have to cook after work and that does be around 6/7 pm but I always find time to season the meat even if it's for just a twenty/ thirty minutes and still build flavor with the base. I just have to season the meat first 😅
Butter oil! Love the channel.
Where are the measurements located? And also could we sit the beef in a bowl of water & baking soda to help tenderize the meat before adding to the curry base?
Can you please type the ingredients in the description box thank you 🇹🇹❤️ Caribbean pot
heyyu best food ever and you also teach me. how to cook
Yes, would like the curry base video. I tend to use vinegar to wash meat.
Please make the paste 🙃
soon
Yes, I would love to have a curry base recipe
soon
What’s the name of the masala ? Also I would love for you to make that curry base seasoning. Thanks Chris for sharing these great ideas
Amchar Masala, you can buy the Chief brand.
I can’t handle the heat of a chili, so can I not use a scotch bonnet pepper? By the way I love your accent! Wished my trini husband still kept his 😂 also, I don’t have any thyme leaves. I have ketchup, green onions, no potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, paprika, white onions, curry powder. I don’t have any chado benni, I do have dried cilantro leaves. I live in California so we don’t have lots of the required ingredients for this dish.
I don't even like curry OR onions, and this looks soooo good!
thank you
I love curry beef do much.😋😋
enjoy
I say yes 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹💯😎
I've tasted different curries and Trinis make the best curry no apologies 😋
I don't see the list of ingredients under the video...
I guess we'll have to pay for it
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Curry base please
Looks like a delicious curry. Would game meat like goat, water buffalo be suitable?
most definitely... wish I could get some water buffalo to give a try
@@caribbeanpot if you ever come to Australia we have it down here. It tastes like a better cut of beef.
I DOES PUT BEEF BONES IN MY CURRY BEEF, THE BONES WILL GIVE FLAVOR TOO💯👍🙏
agree - but who paying for bones this dry guava season?
💯👍 JUST THINK ABOUT IT, YOUR CHICKEN, AND GOAT HAVE BONES 👍 WHY WOULDN'T YOU PUT OR HAVE BONES IN YOUR CURRY'S OR STEWS 💯👍
@@matthewedwards7172 not doubting you (BTW putting beef bones with boneless goat in cooking is a trick restaurants use so they don't have dry beef). Consider the size of the bird and 2 animals you mentioned, a goat and chicken are much smaller and less meat, so chances are you'll have them more readily available with bones.. a beef cow is massive and much easier to get boneless cuts. For the most part, the only beef with bones we get in Canada is bones with little or no meat on it.. basically for making stock. BTW using uppercase is consider rude unless you're yelling at me?
Making this tomorrow. Looks amazing, thank you.
enjoy
Please make green seasoning
Please make curry base
@ caribbeanpot Wha bout Garam Masala? I man does use that and some turmeric inna my curry
not a fan as it has a sort of anise flavor/scent I can't stand.
@@caribbeanpot seen 👊🏿
Can you use stewing beef?
excellent choice
Yo, I need that paste recipe. Post it 😮 looks like Puerto Rican sofrito
CaribbeanPot.com
This will be nice with some Roti skin if you don't have goat readily a available.

Happy Blessed Sunday Chris ☺️ Heading over to your site for 🐖Pigtails recipes 😀 First time for me 😋 There is no other that can show me best! ❤️

You talk too much 😂😂😂
