What a pretty place you are in! Thank you for doing 'The Story of One Sky'! This video has gotten so many comments and has provoked so much thought. Dimash's vocals go right to your soul. I heard one reactor say that it wasn't good because it didn't get as many views on RUclips as it should and that he should work on marketing. I don't agree at all. This video, like all works of art, has a life of it's own and will grow and spread at it's own speed. I think that wanting to commercialize Dimash's work is so wrong. Dimash is stubborn and he will not be 'managed' and told what to do, and I am so glad of that. This is a masterpiece and so good at delivering it's message. Dimash's voice alone tells you everything. Thank you so much for coming back to this. I love hearing what you observe and for you to share your expertise on his vocals. Dimash sang this (with just the pilgrims and him standing on top of a mountain all in white, showing on the screen behind him) at the conference on religions. The Pope attended and gave him a medal of gold for his work on peace. Dimash sang this at his recent concert ('Stranger") in Almaty Kazakhstan, and I believe that he will sing this wherever he performs that concert in the future. Dimash's commitment to a song, his vocals, his emotion, story telling, and to doing the best that he can for his audience is stunning. Every time I hear him, it's like discovering him all over again. I find that I need to hear his voice! Thank you William.

YES! You have to watch this masterpiece numerous times to fully appreciate it like a fine wine! The longer you watch the better it gets! However, I think watching him sing this song LIVE in the 3-4 hour concert that was televised on KZ TV on New Year's Eve (12/31/22) & was uploaded to his official YT channel in 3 Parts. You'll find this song approximately 25 minutes into Part 3. It's absolutely incredible William! Far better than the fancam we all watched beforehand. You're be so moved!

His absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! When Dimash premiered "The story of one sky" at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and hope you dont mind me posting it here

We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents.
And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation.
I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next.
But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true.
We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children,
we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children.
They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities.
I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago.
Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world.
It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart.
To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours.
One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality!
I don't need to tell you what you already know about the reason for mentioning the topic of nationality here...
Let there be peace in the world, Let there be peace. Let there be no war.
Let no people, let no nationality, let no country suffer!
Because after all, ordinary individuals, ordinary people are not at fault.
The truth of the matter is, no ordinary person is guilty of starting a war!
That's why the next song I'll be performing in your honor is about our common fate under one sky, it's called "The Story of One Sky".

William. Phenomenal summary of Dimash’s masterpiece. I have challenged myself to watch this video often. It is graphic and disturbing, but sadly accurate especially in these times. Dimash as a prophet. I won’t question it despite my own faith. His ability to interpret and to express vocally so many emotions (superior emotive abilities!) just proves how much humanity he has! He will be 29 this May (24) and he continues to grow artistically and musically and his audience expands as well! Hello William! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢
Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that?
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

It hard to believe this song can be sung in a live situation. Freddie Mercury, when he sang Boh Rhap live on stage, took a lot of notes down the octave or changed the melody.

I’ve noticed that Dimash sings the word “Imagine” which is capitalized in the lyrics. I’m curious if it’s written that way, if it might be an homage to the song by John Lennon. I’d be interested to hear your opinion.
