Well if you hatch just about any avian they will pretty much tie to you like they're a member of the family the owl likely views the petting as grooming and therefore does likewise in the sense that it can to the owner. When I was raising chickens it was so easy when we actually incubator hatch them and they were quite used to us love being handled by us until we had them in with the other chickens for a while and they eventually forgot about us in that sense I would still go out and handle them everyday clean up there mess make sure they have fresh food and water but when we actually had them young enough from the incubator me and my sister were the first things they saw and they thought we were their family we would take them out let them run around we could say anything and they come running back to us we could say hey stupid and they come right to us cuz they don't really know of course my little sister's cats were trying to I the chicks so I told Caitlin to watch the chicks while I chased off the cats then eventually we brought the chicks back inside when they are getting near adolescent size we put them out with the chickens and then they started to gain and adopt a mentality of the chickens already in the coop The Coop had an indoor and outdoor section.

UFO My cat would give me love bites when she was still alive. Trust me they were love bites. She used to bite me a lot and it’d break the skin but her love bites were more gentle like a nibble. Still hurt though but again her love bites never broke the skin. She lived up to her name. Sassy only loved me and would hiss at you if you got near me when I was petting her. Dispite her loving only me she’d still force me to let her smell my hand before I pet her even if I had just walked elsewhere in the room and came back. God I miss her. It’s been three, four years since her passing.
Avis Avis Relax. My indications have more to do with my biological curiosity than it has to do with gender.
