THIS IS SO FRIKKIN GOOD STUDIO LAN NEEDS TO HIRE Y'ALL Spoilers up to part of Bridon arc ahead My interpretations: 0:22 I love this part bc it's like LG staying in the photo for more than 12hrs so the gold in his eyes disappears 0:33 the red strings attached to CXS as he is falling has many meanings to me. One is that it's like his "lifeline" and he is able to go back to the present after diving into a photo. Plus, he's the one who is directly involved in traveling to the past by 'jumping' into the photo. I'm also reminded of the red strings in the end of Bridon EP2 as a visual metaphor for LG trying keeping the timeline under control- so it also represents LG's motive during all the time traveling which is to save CXS from dying again 0:37 QL gently moves the red strings but doesn't really meddle with it, then there's a closeup to her eyes at 0:41. To me this shows how she can't time travel but she is still able to observe things in the present. I feel like this represents her relationship with CXS and LG- she is a steady friend who can notice things and give advice but she can't do much beyond that (though I'm excited to see what she does with her new power in the later season. She'll probably be the first to realize LG is from the future) 0:42 Oh Lu Guang, cryptic as always. His back turned to the camera shows he is keeping a secret, and then he meddles with the red string showing how he is able to and willing to change the past. The overlay at 1:09 also emphasizes it 1:17 tell me if I'm going crazy but this short scene from the reverse sequence is slightly different from original animation (0:28). Along with the string that is now blue instead of red, it shows that something in the past has been changed by CXS and LG hoooo OK that was a lot.
