My mum had me at 19, literally two years older and she did her best and I turned out okay. People need to stop shaming young/old parents, it doesn’t matter what age you are be it 17 or 47, if you have a lot of love to give and can provide the basic necessities then you’re a good parent
Right on, age doesn't make you a mother, it's the responsibilities that make a great mother, my nephew was a father at 18 he's a great dad to his daughter, now he's 27 still good to his kid and additional two more girls.
I mean, I personally don’t encourage or recommend getting married and becoming a mother at a young age. Especially as young as 17 or 18. But I also don’t judge people for it. I try to consider the fact that teens moms probably do it by choice and could have been taken advantage.
Morals of the story: 1. Never judge others because you don't know the full extent of their situation. 2. Age doesn't matter when it comes to motherhood or responsibility. 3. It's better to support others than to shame them.
2. is not valid. Here is the more revised version: When you have come this far, do not give up and take charge of your responsibilities, regardless of how abnormal it is. like if you agree
I liked the story, Dhar. However it got resolved way too easily, like most of these scenarios. She’s a better person than me cuz I wouldn’t have been so forgiving
I love this! No one should ever be judged based on their age because no matter how old or how young you are if you're there for the child that's what makes you an amazing parent! This teaches so many important lessons about being an amazing parent in life!
It's wrong to take out your insecurities on others. The older mother had no right to be so cruel. She apologized but it isn't always easy to forgive someone as horrible as that. I hope she learnt her lesson.
My mother had me when she was 18 back in 2004. She had to drop out of high school just so she could raise me. Now I’m 19 and although I’d never wish to be a young mom myself (let alone get married young), I have so much respect for the young moms around the world, including my own mom.❤
I’m glad that dhar finally gave the older mother a reason that she went after the younger mother. It makes it feel like she apologized for making fun of her instead of so she doesn’t look bad.
@Niki.kats7 No one plans on being a widow at just 21 years old. That is unrealistic. At 21 years old, people are building a career and renting cars of their own. People have their first child at 24-25 years old. People are newly married starting from 22 years old
My mom was 15 when she had my brother, then she turned 19 and had my sister. She had me at 30, I’m so proud of her ❤️ she’s always had our back, and her and our dad stayed together ❤️
My mom had me at 40. She did have a little trouble needing help with ivf, but ultimately made the choice to have me late. I would give anything to make her younger. Not bc i dont relate to her, but bc i love her to pieces and would kill to have more time with her. To put it in perspective, letst say she lives to 90. That means i will be 50 when my mom dies. If the mom in the video lives till 90, her child will be 73 when she passes.
I had a professor in college who didn't get married until just after he turned 59. I don't know if he's had any kids yet, but he was planning to do so soon after he gets married-just think about the age he'll be when his kids (say he was 59 at the time his wife gave birth to them) turn 18: 59 + 18 = 77.
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
Exactly! I personally believe that 18 years old is WAY to young to have a baby or even get married. Most people in their late teens are barely graduating high school and deciding what they wanna do in life while still having fun. But I also would never judge a young mother b/c idk their whole story.
Exactly. It could have been safe sex, but the protection failed, or hell, she could have been raped but chose to keep the baby regardless. The only person allowed to bring it up is the mother herself. She was forced to bring it up and that was wrong.
I met my husband right before I turned 19, and I became pregnant the next month by accident. It's been amazing though. My husband has been there every step and made sure he did all I could. I'm 20 now and have a 5 month old little boy. He's my world and I do everything I can to make him happy and to make sure he's healthy. Being young doesn't mean you're a bad mother. Who you are makes you a good or bad mother, not age. Now, not saying you should get pregnant young, it's hard. Thankfully I was never a party teen and I loved to work. Anyways, to wrap it up, don't let others judgment get to you. They don't know you or your situation. Be you and be the good mother you are or will be.
My mom had me when she was 16 and she gave me full support while she had school and my father helped me as well because i have asthma and it is really tough so i am glad i have 2 lovely supportive parents ❤❤😊

I get what you're saying, but as someone who has done a ton of research into ADHD (and has it), I hate when people (including those with ADHD) only mention the difficulty focusing and hyperactivity. Because by doing that you leave out, executive dysfunction, difficulty processing time and emotions, the way out brains handle dopamine and stimulants differently, and the commodities that can occur alongside it like anxiety, depression, OCD, autism, insomnia and others. You're right, it doesn't change who we are, but it most definitely affects us and the people around us a bit more than just a little bit more energy.
I understand I also have adhd I've struggled with it all my life since age 5 it's a hard disorder to live with especially when people are constantly judging u without knowing your full story

For context she married her middle school bf when she was young and they planned to raise a big family together early on, so they had the kid but he ended up getting into a car crash so she decided to move towns to have a fresh start. Old hag was bullying her because she was insecure about being the oldest mum there.
I have ADHD and I’ve been taking medicine ever since I was like six or seven so there’s no problem with that. My mom were like in their late 30s when they had me. And if I didn’t take that medicine, my life would’ve been horrible because the medicine just helped you concentrate and stay on task.
I really wish people would understand why they lash out at others this easily. It very much shows in plain view what actually happens and what you can do to self reflect. I wish more people would and would just support each other instead of filling life with hate and jealousy. I am not free of those emotions myself and have lots to learn but I hope that if I do hurt someone's feelings on accident that I can apologize and try to help them any way I can. I wish more people could do the same because it's becoming really scary out there.

I have adhd. I’m in 8th grade. I find it really hard to concentrate but Jesus because I have adhd doesn’t mean I’m different I just need extra help with learning and I fidget around or much by luckily I’m getting better at that. As a person with adhd i can assure you, mean old lady, that there is no wrong age to take adhd medication, as long as you can swollow it you aren't too young, though some ppl (me included) don't take medication by choice
Yeah, and the fact that she said it was "an easy way out". Medication works for some and doesn't work for others, and if it's recommended by your doctor that's because you need it. That's not taking the easy way out, that's helping your kid survive in their day to day life.
@@rice-hero-VS-hungry-monster life is like that everyone needs to carry around 100 marbles, everyone has a bag, ppl with adhd don't and medication is like a bag with holes, in some cases the holes are bigger then other and in other cases the holes are big eanough that the bag is more of an inconvinience then it is helpfull so you stop taking the bag

I have ADHD and I’ve been taking medicine ever since I was like six or seven so there’s no problem with that. My mom were like in their late 30s when they had me. And if I didn’t take that medicine, my life would’ve been horrible because the medicine just helped you concentrate and stay on task.
Gurl yank her friken pony tail of and tell her that she looks to old to have a five year old 😂
I really wish people would understand why they lash out at others this easily.
My best friend had her son at 16 he is such a loved child. He is around great people constantly. He’s almost 6 months old and I love him so much. She’s such a good mother and takes amazing care of her son and they’re so close
My anger issues could never

My mom gave birth to me when she was 16 and my father was 21 at the time and because of it he wasn't around much most of the time he would be at work and he worked in the army but times he was home he would leave to go somewhere else and not help my mom out so when everything was going downhill my mom dropped highschool to look for a job then when she left my father she found somebody who was evil but my mom didn't notice but they got married for 6 and a half years and gots a lot more kids but things started to go downhill again were my step dad left and made it so my mom has to work 2 jobs to make sure we have our needs.
Keep the great work up

Keep up the good work Dhar Man!!! 😊
Dhar mann always put out good life lessons videos ever week
It doesn't matter how responsible you are. Having a kid at the age of SEVENTEEN undermines it all
U can’t be having kids at 17 ur not even a adult yet ur a minor
@@Kwakughanayou can have kids once you hit puberty
fr man
Waht if its by force
Kudos to you for doing the math.
As a young single mother myself, I absolutily loved this❤️🥹
I have adhd. I’m in 8th grade. I find it really hard to concentrate but Jesus because I have adhd doesn’t mean I’m different I just need extra help with learning and I fidget around or much by luckily I’m getting better at that. A lot of people have adhd so it’s nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of.
I would have said “ aren’t you a little old to be having a 5 year old what are you like 57” 0:11
You know what could've been cool is if the lady's siter was a teen mom and she saw how horrible that life was and that child's life was, her sister committed and now he haunts everyone in her path
Out of all the videos I’ve watching on Dhar Mann this is the best video I ever seen it made me cry😭😭 bc I’m a young mother of 2 kids at just the age of 20 and o work 2 jobs to take care of my kids and my dream was to go to college so I can be a doctor but I can’t go anywhere 😢 at least not for another 17 years later so I do know how she feels😭😭💔 I’m trying to be a vlogger to make easy money from RUclips but it’s hard😔😭 but I hope🤞 one day I’ll become one I used to make videos and upload them but I wasn’t getting any viewers or subscribers so I quit and deleted all my videos 😭
You can’t give up on your dream you can do it .
Can you study Nursing online? I am just asking. I don't actually know.
@@Shycrochetqueen thank you I rlly appreciate this comment 🙏❤️
@@vanessab2392 I’m gonna do that if I can 😊
It’s a good relationship as the parents are not that old and matured and would make the children feel more confident as to interact

My sister is 28 and she have two kids one 10 years old and the other 3 years old and they are raised very well. she had her first child at 17 and am proud to say she is raising those two kids very well even better than other women have seen way older than her.
She had her baby at 17-
And?
?
The young mom is absolutely beautiful!!
I have ADHD
My mum had me when she was 21 and her parenting was perfect she raised a respect beautiful girl
@@bbcat6202 I love that analogy. I heard it from a RUclipsr called Olivia Lutfallah. Did you as well, or did you hear it from somewhere else?
@@rice-hero-VS-hungry-monster i think i heared it from someone else but i cant remember from who
4:37 Don't let her get to u Jen, being a young parent is an amazing accomplishment. I hope to be a young father when I turn 30
True there's nothing wrong with being a young mother
What’s wrong with having a child at 22 years old dude
