I totally agree! I'm kind of tired of ppl asking me in school why am I so quite, why I never talk and all.. They don't understand me, I wasn't always quite like that, after 2 years in the lockdown without actually talking face to face with any of the friends, only chatting online, and also some salty ppl making me feel bad about myself, I don't have the courage to talk with anyone now. I can only talk to those who are super close to me - Like family, relatives, neighbours, cousins. I don't like the new me either, but I don't know how to change myself again. There's hardly 2 ppl in my class I talk to, because I feel comfortable with them.
You know, I also have these 2nd thoughts in my mind always like when I'm about to say anything, these thoughts come in my mind
examples :
"What If what i'm gonna say look cringe?"
"I'm gonna make a total fool of myself If I say that.."
"What if everyone laughs.."
"What if this changes the thoughts of people about me.. make me look bad infront of them?"
And than I end up not saying it :(
Me to. I’m comfortable around people I know like my close family and close friends and not so comfortable around people I’m not close with/don’t know, even if that includes old friends, classmates, and teachers. I agree so much with Dhar and I’m happy he made this video!

I can relate to Clara. I was a quiet, shy, socially awkward teen with social anxiety disorder, and there were literally TONS of Megan types at my school, constantly bullying me.

That lesson about quiet people, is 110% true. Not just with quiet people. Most people in general are only willing to be themselves and opening up around those they trust or make them feel comfortable and included.
Even outspoken people don’t like interacting with people who are rude or intimidating.
I used to be quiet before, but it was because i was shy. After time i grew up and became more talkative and open for people including that I made so many new friends.

I was too when I was younger. I can’t stand people who underestimate quiet people and just assume that they’re always shy. Especially when it comes from someone they either just met or hardly spend time with.

What matters is how you think, not how many words you say. Some people (including myself) don’t talk much during the first few days of school. However, I always try to help others to give them a good impression. I also try to always give the best answers I could in class when I’m answering my teacher’s questions. You make friends by showing them your capabilities. That’s how a capable and smart person’s brain work. You have to earn the respect, not demand it.
As a quiet person myself, this is relatable although I would never sing in front of a crowd, I have the worst social anxiety, and I’m still not comfortable talking around the kids I’ve grew up with in school :/

I was always the quiet/shy person in school too. There are so many mean people who love to hone in on us to try to humiliate and try to make themselves seem better. Problem is with them, not anyone else. I may not talk up like some, but there's plenty going on in my head. Clara has such a beautiful singing voice!
More than anything, Megan was jealous of Clara b/c her crush was into Clara instead of her. That’s the main reason she went as far as she did.

The moral of the story is never to judge a book by its cover. Quiet people can be talkative around the right crowd. This is so inspirational! I can relate to this.
The same people who accuse people of being “too quiet”, are usually the same ones who never put in the effort to try to be nice and talk to them to make them feel comfortable.
I myself am quiet, but talkative around the right people at the right time
There's nothing wrong with being reserved. When I was in high school, I kept to myself a lot because I didn't get along well with many classmates.
