I don't know why but it's always interesting to watch stuff like this. These little enclosure bundles look pretty convenient.
I have a pre-enclosed single 12" in my trunk, super convenient, if I need to take it out to make room for anything its really easy to disconnect and take out.

What type of amplifier should I use for these speakers?
Is there any way to remove those subs from the box itself? I have 4 dvc 2ohm I pair is in the dual enclosure box. And the other 2 are in the single enclosure. I want to re wore them for a total of 2 ohm output for a cxa1800.1 at 2 ohms.
Which amp would u recommend for this set up? And how many amps would someone need for this setup?

I have this box and it sucks unless you cover the port. Its a compact box so its tuned to like 38-40hz and doesnt get low. If you want these subs to hit hard, build a box to 5cuft before displacement and use a 4in dia port tunes to 31hz and it will get loud. But they really pound in a big sealed box.

What is the difference between the white k in the center and the black k in the center? Amazon has both but the vlack k is 200 more

how do you take these out of the enclosure? just blew one and want to replace it or the whole damn box.
Pop off the plastic lining around the sub. Unscrew it from the box pull it out and unwired the sub. Its easy.
Can you recommend a decently affordable amp to run these on and get good bass
Standard minimum u would want a 1000 amp so It can put out 500 rms for each speaker. I have the cxa 600.1 . They discontinued it but it's an ok amp but u need a 1000 watts amp or better... I'm stick with kicker but it's other brands out there. Good luck

So if I got this pre loaded enclosure in 12inch would a Rockford fosgate prime R1200-1D be a perfect match to power them? Or would I be under powering them? I know the subs are 500rms 2ohm each the R1200-1D can deliver 800rms at 2ohms so should that mean 800rms going to each sub since they are wired together or does that mean 400 going to each?

I have a CXA800.1 mono amp and it works amazing. If you wanna go a little more expensive you can get the CXA1200.1 mono but just make sure to tune it correctly.

I had the older version of these in 12s and they hit pretty hard with a 1000watt kicker amp. I got a new car and decided to get this newer version with a 1600watt kicker amp. I have to wait a few days for the install but I know they are going to pound

My system came out even better than expected! The subs hit extremely hard and the jbl speakers are loud and clear. I gave the installer rubber weather stripping and he used it on my top brake light. I got 0 rattle from the top deck after he added that plus dinamated it. Dinamated the top of the trunk it sounds great. I added the weather stripping to my license plate so no rattle their either. I'm glad I did my homework before the install and I couldn't be happier with the way it came out!

Hi, I have one kicker L7 12" in a ported box. I'm wondering what would sound louder/better. One kicker L7 12" or this 12" loaded enclosure. Thanks in advanced
The enclosure gets you 1000W RMS, a single 12" L7 gets you 900W RMS. The L7 is definitely the superior woofer
L7 is a good speaker already,
But the box that kicker makes is ideal for the speakers they come with. Remember that the same people who engineer the Kicker speakers built the Kicker box for optimal performance.✌🏻🤙🏻
The L7 baric is by far the superior sub, but the dual Comp R box will pound harder then a single L7

If I'm correct the .5 ohm config would hurt the amp more then the subs. I could be wrong though.
I mean I know they can be wired down to 0.5 Ohms but I'm just not sure if it will damage the subs running them at that load

Where can I find the kicker dual unloaded ported kicker 10" comp R enclosure only? I already have the speakers but no one sells the kicker box only.
You cant unless someone else is selling the box by itself. They come exclusively with the subs already in them.

What if you need to change the speaker. How do you remove the speaker from the box
Unscrew the sub, pull it out and disconnect the wires. Its simple.

@hiawa23 the kicker ones are terrible. I recommend getting a box made with the specs of the sub. It'll sound much better

The subs are 500w RMS each so 1000w in the enclosure total.
Basically yes. They are 500rms and 1000 watt each. So together they are 1000rms and 2000 watt peak. Anything more and you will blow them easy.
