    Which purpose we calculate heat of air with sensible and latent ?

    • @MEPAcademy
      @MEPAcademy  Год назад

      Depending on the system type that is being used, the latent load could be calculated as part of a DOAS unit where it handles the latent heat from ventilation, and the coil that feeds the zone will handle the sensible load, or if you have a packaged unit then the coil will need to handle both latent and sensible heat loads.

    While air passing through an evaporator coil, how the humidity will increase. It becomes 100%RH!
    What is the temperature here on the coil?

    • @MEPAcademy
      @MEPAcademy  11 месяцев назад

      The temperature reaches 55 Degrees and is fully saturated at (100% RH)

    What if I don’t have the CFM, but I have the size of the air vent and the speed of air?

    • @MEPAcademy
      @MEPAcademy  Год назад +3

      If you have the dimensions of the duct and the velocity then you can calculate CFM. CFM = Velocity x Square Feet.

    Can I separate sensible from latent to find out how much of my cooling is going to each?

    • @MEPAcademy
      @MEPAcademy  Год назад

      Yes, see our video on how to calculate the sensible heat from air. ruclips.net/video/ae2_OTU87jA/видео.html

      Yes, 1 pint = 1 pound of water. 1 pound of water = 970 BTU's. Put a cup at the end of your condensate drain and collect your condensate for 15 mins. For each pint of water you collect, its 970 BTU's of latent cooling. Multiply that by 4, to get your Latent BTU per hour measurement.

    Is there any formula to calculate delta H?

    • @MEPAcademy
      @MEPAcademy  2 года назад

      Delta "H", Enthalpy is a condition of the air, which has two values. You can rework the formula to calculate the Delta H using Delta-H = Q/CFM x 4.5. This should get you the delta "H"
