"She doesn't look the same", "Is this the same artist?", "She does not let her fans control who she is", "She has evolved", "She looks like a different person". Yep! THAT'S MADONNA!!!
It's hard to watch a bit as these kids will really never get the concept of what Madonna stood for and how she revolutionized music. We wouldn't have half the female artists we have today without her
it reflects clearly a male dominated culture is still ongoing and how she tried to break through this in the early years and still got undermined all along. The same goes to Mariah or other great female artists, kids just don't know them.
I just can't comprehend them for not knowing about old musics at all. When I was only 7 years old, I knew almost all 80's to 90's music and singers. Thanks to my parents for making me quite well-informed about music and entertainment history.
They're used to 'twerking' That's the only kind of 'dancing' that female popstars can do these days Well, except Beyonce, she might still do some choreography
5:45 this girl is getting it. That's what Madonna is about, re-invention, re-volution. They should show them more recent videos like "Hung Up" "Celebration" or the the Superbowl Halftime Show, so they can really see how is she still evolving and sounding fresh everytime she comes back.
I’ve been listening to Madonna since I was 8 and I was born in 2000. She changed the pop industry as we knew it- no, she built the pop industry. I C O N I C.
I'm more concerned with their reaction which tend to be rude toward old things. I'm millennial but I do recognize music from early 1900's until 1990's and I respect them.
Maybe their parents are Christian's... mormons... or whatever ... the girls are surprised ... seeing men in the video ... what do they want ... more girls ... 🤯
I'm not impressed by the fact they don't actually know who Madonna is, I'm really impressed by the intelligent and brilliant answers provided by those kids. They have such a good critical thinking and they are so young! way to go kids!

Not really. Madonna is the original pop Princess (and the only one that acually will be remembered because she was the first one and was crowned Queen) and all of them are forgotten once they get older and a dozen new young ones take their place. There are just too damn many Madonna clones these days
I am so glad they reacted to her. I love Madonna. I was born in the late 90's but man, I would give anything to grow up in the 80's and be around since her prime. She is so iconic!
I grew up in the eighties listening to Madonna, listening to her singles on the radio by the first time as these kids, ignoring who she was and i reacted like them: "so many boys, jewerly, catchy, Marilyn Monroe, etc..." but instantly conected to her music and Material Girl was my favorite one, in the eighties when you would listen to her, she sounded more cool and new than contemporary music, i think all perceptions about who she was were true so these boys confirm that.
Strawberry Slush wasnt doing it for likes and I saw that u all put britney and im a major britney fan so thought the more people put britney the more likely they will do a britney video.
