The only negative point i have with guyker tuners is that the holes arent really big enough. Anything above a .70 wont fit, so youll have to drill out the hole. Small thing, but if you are into low stuff it can be a hassle
That was one thing I did not get to test so I’m glad you bring that up. The gauge I was running here was 11-56 and I didn’t have any thicker ones on hand
This review came out the same day I got some Guyker tremolo springs. I can add, the springs work very well. Silent and comes with 4 for a very good price > quality ratio.
I kinda didn’t like them at all. I find their tuners for way less on shein or aliexpress. Only downside is the waiting time for shipping. But the price is less than half of it. It’s not complex to make some tuners so I can definitely see why they’d be that cheap. It’s honestly just cheap stuff from China they’re drop shipping. Probably won’t last as long as other brands. I like the ratio tuners for the specific winding on each string. Unfortunately they don’t have 7 string sets last time I checked.
This was a huge concern of mine as well, though after doing some digging I actually found that these new tuners are quite different than those I found on the other sites as well. I watched as many reviews as possible before making a decision and again, would have fully been willing to give them some negative feedback if it was anything like those you are mentioning. The dopamine line specifically are absolutely banger, and I would recommend buying from their site directly with that said. A few weeks of straight up stressing them and I’ve not had an issue yet, though I am planning a video further down the line to see how they held up and re evaluate. So far though, these are fantastic.

I have Gotoh tuners and I had to drill out the hole to fit a .80 gauge

I find it disconcerting that seemingly no one can tell the difference between good quality and far east zinc junk.
