You should also mention "Noise". I just bought a "Thunderbay 8" and I was shocked by the fan noise. I replaced the original fan (after 2 days of having the device) by a high quality fan.

The worst part about all these drives is the OWC branding. I just don’t like it. Love everything else. I just don’t like branding all over my items. The Thunderblade is very attractive because there is no huge “OWC” on it.
