@@brunosun9550 Still learning - and since this is my first proper machine I don't have anything to compare it to. Loving it though - very tactile and beautifully made. Focusing more on getting a decent espresso so far, and in the new year might try a hands-on lesson from the place I bought it. Still using the plastic tamper it came with, so that will be my first upgrade. And thinking about a bottomless filter so I can see better what I'm doing, but open to ideas.
@@HKCanary dude i have received my casa recently. But I found there is a bit problem when the machine is heating up. When I turned the machine on every morning, there was a sharp noise coming out from the boiler for a few minutes. Do you have this problem on your machine?
@@brunosun9550 Bruno, hi, yes I experience the same thing on cold mornings. A few cracks and pops as the boiler gets up to temperature but it soon stops. The issue I have - as a novice - is that I can’t seem to get my espresso to extract slow enough. A double pours out in about 10 seconds, despite fine grind and a good 18g dose of coffee. Getting some proper hands-on tuition next week so hope to fix this. Still using the plastic tamper that came with the machine too so that won’t help from what I’m reading. Other than that, very pleased with the machine - solid, easy to clean, just need to keep practising.
Speaking several languages with / without accent is not important. It is important to make sense when one speaks, and you did. Many people make no sense even when they speak in their mother tongue with perfect accent. Thanks for sharing.
I thought that you have to operate the hot water wand first and only after it to make the espresso, that will keep safe the water level in the boiler . Is it so?
This depends on the personal taste, you can use between 7g an 12g or single and between 14g to 17g for double... But his is only my personal opinion !!! You can check for expamle the total dissoved solids (TDS) with a refractomeer, in case you prefer a more scientific approach.
Silvano I do not know, it is always good to know the manufacturer!!! Casa V is a cool machine. But I prefer the ECM Classika or Classika PID. The reliability mainly depends on the barista.
nobody cares if you have an accent or not. it does not have to be perfect, the main thing is that it is understandable! Wake up, it's 2020 not 1945! THX Espresso TV
Great videos! Thank you!
The English is appreciated for us monolingual types. Excellent demo of a premier single boiler machine!
kann es sein das die Casa V probleme mit Tempratur hat meine ist komischerweise egal ob Espresso oder Cappuchino zu kalt.
I'm amazed at how I can't find a single video on the Casa V that shows "at working temperature" indicated.
Thanks, this was really helpful as I have an ECM casa V arriving very soon! Much appreciated.
how do you think of casa after two months tho

Excellent review mate. Oh and your English is excellent !
Good to know, some people say my English is terrible, i think they mean my german accent, but honestly speaking i do not care so much about accents

You have 2 options: either refil the boiler by opening the wand activating the pum or by flushing the brew unit is option number 2.
How many grams of coffee do you grind for double/single shot?

@@TheEspressoTV Hm... I have been using 22 grams for the double shot. Otherwise extraction starts in less than 5 seconds.
How would you rate „Silvano“ vs „Casa V“ (ECM)?
Reliability, maintenance/-costs, long-Term performance?

Sorry, ich meinte im Vergleich zur Quickmill Silvano Evo.
Die QM Silvano empfinde ich als Zwitter, Espresso Kessel ok, aber Thermoblock für Dampf ??? No please... Wenn Quickmill, dann besser die Rubino.
Danke !
@@TheEspressoTV Ive had a ECM Classika for 8 years , still runs perfect .
you better speak in german its so "peinlich"
